I absolutely LOVE this place! Ive been there a bunch of times for lunch since walking past one day. As a vegetarian who works in the area, this is by far one of the better places to check out. Their meatless menu is just as big as their regular menu. And they are more than happy to customize your order. I highly recommend the meatless chicken wrap with EVERYTHING on it! And I do mean EVERYTHING - beets and all! Health Food is a GREAT little find which I will be frequenting for years to come!

I would never darken their doorways again. The manager is a very rude, bitter woman. Theres a restaraunt area in the back, but I was told (while being given the once-over from head to toe) that "not just anybody off the street" can use their restrooms. As a regular, paying customer, I was COMPLETELY disgusted. They have herbs from wall to wall, but Ill be spending my money at McNultys on Christopher St and Flower Power on 9Th st in NYC, which is a shame, because I am a Newark Resident.

Ive been going here for years. The sandwiches are great. Plus, no matter how long its been, the staff remembers you. From the service, to the selection of natural products, herbs and foods (the only place that I know of that still sells tu-no) to the prices, its a the the lack of parking that makes me mark 4 and not 5 stars.

O.m.g this store is the place to be. I went there in spite of that one bad review and Im telling you all that its not true. The manager Lisa is as nice and friendly as she wants to be and Brenda who made my wrap is a nice lady as well. Wanna eat healthy get to this store!!!!!!!

Great Health food store!!! Been going there for years. My parents have been going there even longer than that. Theyve been around maybe 30 plus years. Im vegan and Ill tell you theres no other place that makes better vegan sandwiches. Customers service is great.
