I like Food Lion. They normally have a good selection of groceries, produce and bakery items. Great sales and enough cashiers so you dont have a long wait to check out. My only complaint is that whenever I feel like having fried chicken (and theirs is very good ) I never find any Ready to Go. Im only 5 minutes away so I always call ahead.

Loved shopping here. As a Floridian, the prices seemed lower than my home state. They give you cold items in blue bags, and the rest in white. Cashier told me it was to let you know what needs to be put away first. Pretty cool.

Well it is the only grocery store in Banner Elk, but it is clean and the staff was very helpful. The store is well stocked. We shopped there several times and were never disappointed. Nice selection of local beer.
