I arrived 10 minutes before the opening time posted in the window, but I was welcomed in and lent tools that solved my bike problem. You will find Beer City an unpretentious and homey bikeshop. By that, I mean it is the kind of place were you will feel quite at home chatting without obligation to exchange $. Goodwill first philosophy leads to a sound business. Not only in staff attitude, but the way the bike shop is designed as a training venue and a social gathering spot in addition to the traditional functions of bike sales and repair.

Really nice rental shop. Great equipment, fair prices and a sweet guy from Brooklyn running the place who really cares about customer service. Riding the road in front (Riverside) is pretty tough though, heavy traffic and winding. Get the bikes and take them elsewhere. Recommend highly.

I needed my bottom bracket serviced. I assumed I would be told that I needed a new bottom bracket but instead Frank serviced it and had it fixed in a day. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and my dogs loved the place, what more needs to be said.
