I post on behalf of my husband as he does not have a google account I have been doing business with Bill and the folks at Westchester Jewelry for only about 1 year but they are the most amazing people. They are incredibly knowledgeable but also practice the most thoughtful and patient customer service I have ever experienced. I first contacted Westchester Jewelry to find a gift for my then girlfriend to celebrate our first month together. I wanted to purchase a number one pendant for that anniversary. Even though I was only about to spend less than $100, they took as much time with me trying to help me get exactly what I wanted as if I were about to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. This was particularly time consuming for them as I am blind and they took the time to describe numerous choices of pendants helping me choose exactly the right pendant. Later, as Christmas approached, I wanted to have them create an apple made from a ruby. Again, they took the time to understand my desires and thoughtfully considered my wishes. In the end Bill told me that he was concerned that creating such a custom piece might be too difficult and expensive. I decided to buy a simple but breathtakingly beautiful round ruby instead. They offered me several choices of different qualities of stones and of course prices. My girlfriend was thrilled with the gift. Later as I hoped to propose to the same woman, Bill took a lot of time with me helping me consider exactly what kind and (how expensive) of a diamond I wanted. I chose a custom ring that he had created. Of course, she said yes and when people ask to look at that ring, they marvel at the exquisite stone and beautiful setting. There was no doubt that when we planned to marry, there was no other place to go for wedding bands except for Bill and Westchester Jewelry and once again, Bill took the time needed to help my wife and I select exactly the right rings matching her engagement ring spectacularly. Bill and the rest of the staff at Westchester Jewelry are kind, patient and balance their gentle suggestions with assisting you to choose what you want and at a price you can afford. I dont think I will ever go to any other jewelry store. I am sure I will buy many more pieces from them for birthdays, holidays and anniversaries. This is my genuine and honest perception of their offerings and the way they will treat you! Richard

The staff is friendly. If you are looking for a place to purchase jewelry, this might not be a bad store. But if you need something repaired, go elsewhere. You will not be happy with the final product. They repair jewelry offsite and wherever they take it, the quality is poor. I had my engagement ring worked on because the prongs were catching on clothes. I took it home and it was still catching. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the prongs were now bent oddly with visible tool marks on them. I went back. Without hesitation they offered to have the job redone. I went to look at it after the second repair and saw the same issues. The jeweler offered to replace the basket part of my setting so that Id be happy. I picked it up for the third time. When I got home and inspected it closely (I didnt bother in the store because at that point I knew if there was something still wrong I was not going to resolve it using their repair service), I was very unhappy with the way the basket was attached to the rest of the ring. It was sloppy work. The center stone and side stones were not centered. One of my side stones sits higher than the other. The prongs are not even. Now instead of having a prong that catches on clothes, I have a setting that will likely need to be completely replaced.

Ive lived in this neighborhood for 4 years and I NEVER knew this place existed. If I had, I wouldve went here for engagement ring shopping! I was lucky enough to find out about it today however, and went there with my fiance to look for wedding bands. The staff was AMAZING. My fiance and I were amazed by the selection and the person helping us, Alana I believe, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on us the entire time. She even helped us find rings within our budget but was just as high quality as everything else there. We ended up falling in love with a ring and buying it the same day. My fiance even had her engagement ring cleaned and polished and when the two were set together, it was just magnificent. Ill be coming back for my own ring shortly. This is a gem of a place in what is already a fantastic neighborhood. 10/10 - would give all of my money to them again.

I had paid to have my ring fixed elsewhere a couple times in the past, but I needed more work done this time so I found Westchester Jewelry through Google. Both of my bands were cracked and I lost my main diamond months ago. A friend gave me one of her mothers rings to either use or sell to replace my diamond. Not only was this shop able to use the diamond in my existing ring, but I got a little bit of money for the gold band to put towards my repairs. The jeweler was incredibly easy to work with and understood what I needed. I paid $200 for both band repairs and to transplant the diamond, which is incredible. The rings were ready sooner than promised and were sparkling when I picked them up. I will eventually need more work on the bands in the future and I will only go there now.

This is the first review I have ever written for any business, but after yet another great experience at this store I decided it was time to break my silence. I am not an amateur when it comes to jewelry stores, I have been buying watches for many years, and also like to give regular gifts to my wife. I live in Scarsdale, and although this store is about 20min away, it is well worth the trip. Never am I pressured to buy anything, and I always receive amazing pricing (checked many other stores). Trust me, I am not a guy who writes reviews, but after so many years of going to jewelry stores that are trying to rip me off, I thought I should let you know about the one that was focused on building a relationship by always providing amazing customer service and fantastic pricing.

I found Weschester Jewelry by accident, just looking for a jewelry store for a watch battery but what I found was a jewelry store for life. I dont live in the area but I still travel there whenever I need to buy or fix a piece of jewelry. Billy and the staff are wonderful, they take time to help you and never make you feel you are being rushed. The quality of the merchandise is excellent and they will always work in your price range! They stand by their merchandise and work and never make you feel its a problem if you change your mind. I will continue to go there because in this day and age its hard to find stores where they remember you and give you personalized attention!
