BUYER BEWARE!! Two weeks ago I placed a $1180 order with westchester wine to be shipped from New York to Miami. Of the 66 bottles I received, I noticed one of the cases was of the wrong vodka.As soon as I realized the mistake I called the store to speak with the manager to resolve the issue. I was a complete gentleman about the situation, but he told me my "emotions were getting the best of me" Rudi, the store manager suggested I take the bottles and stuff them in my suitcase to bring back to New york from Miami. If I was delivered the wrong item why would I "stuff it" in my suitcase to bring home with me. I am a first time customer placing a $1180 order with you. THIS is how you treat me? After days of back and forth he sent me a fedex label and told me to ship the bottles back with the with the hotel concierge at the Royal Palms in miami beach. Now today he sends me a email stating " I only received one bottle." He is now accusing me of stealing? Reading reviews like the one Linda Prine posted below makes me know I am not alone. Forget what the condescending manager Rudi tries to write up, I am sure he will have something slick to say. I will now have to deal with the headache of disputing the charge with chase. DO NOT get stuck in a situation like I did you will DEEPLY regret it.

Disaster. Ordered a case of wine from them onliine. The wrong case was delivered. Called and it took a week for them to get back to me. They said theyd send fedex to pick up the wrong case and bring the right one. Another week goes by. I call and always get "someone will get back to you". Then I get a call from some other delivery company that they will be there in 30 minutes for the exchange. I say "no" you have to come when the doorman is on duty. They come anyway, get the wrongly delivered case back from the super. I get back in town a week later and the super tells me they came, but they never dropped off the correct case. Call the Warehouse, they say the wine was delivered, they will look into it. They always say they will call me back but no one does. Still dont have my wine. Now I have a name of someone when I call, he is "looking into it." It has been 5 weeks since I ordered this case of wine.

This is really fantastic. I was searching for a local store that sold the Lagavulin Distillers Edition, or the Lagavulin 12. I stumbled on Westchester Wine and not only did they carry both of them, but they had the 16 as well, and at $30 less than any stores Ive seen. Ive tried small local liquor stores, as well as big chains like ABC Liquor, Crown and Total Wine. None of them had the two other varieties of Lagavulin, and the the one variety they did carry was literally $30 more expensive. Even with the shipping, this is a STEAL. And they ship FAST! 3 days and its at your door. I wound up buying all three (plus a couple of add ons in the form of a nice Pinot Grigio and a Sparkling Wine), and the shipping was only $20. Split between the FIVE bottles, that was nothing. I am not curious to check out their other scotches, as they have a wide selection, and it seems they beat the competitors price every time!

Tried to order some wine to be shipped accross country. I state on my order that they should not ship until temperatures are below 80. They attempted to ship when the week ahead temperatures were forcast for the 90s accross the country. That, to me says they have no respect for the quality of the wine or their customers. When I called that to their attention, they cancelled my order, no apology and said they cant hold orders even though their website says they can and will. "Weather: There are times when we will be unable to ship due to adverse weather conditions in the New York area. We will not ship if the weather is too hot or too cold. We cannot be responsible for accurately judging weather conditions in other parts of the country." Too bad, I would have liked the wine but dont think I will be shopping here.

Cashier "JV" is truly a disgusting pig. I went there to purchase some very nice champagne for a special occasion. I had the misfortune of coming to her register. As she rung up my purchase she proceeded to slobber all over her finger then opened a plastic bag to put my very nice champagne. Horrified, I said -- uh I really dont need a bag. Totally oblivious to what she had done, she said duh its the law you need a bag. I said I dont really want your disgusting saliva all over my bag. She then reluctantly gave me another one. This animal needs to be fired. I dont plan on going back to this store again. gross.

Service was terrible bought over 150 dollars of wine store double entered on my debt card. Did not find the error until I later checked my balance at bank. Called the store back told me manager was gone no one could do anything about it. Oh well come into store on Monday I told them I am still out 1he $160. I told them I will not be going back to do business with them and tell all our friends who do by from them to not go back a lot of business lost for the sake of two employees who did not care wonder what they would do if it was their 160??

They ask for an id in the entrance like wtf i was with two more friends of course older than 21 and I didnt have my Id and the security guy Embarrassed me making me read a paper in the entrance and then kick me out I think he was racist bc he was treating the other people so nice. The tree of us were latinos. Tht is all so heads up if u are with ur kids leave them in the car bc they would need an Id lol

I used to come to this place whenever I was in town. Awesome place with a wide variety, but they no longer sell Red Berry Ciroc. Not sure how that happens, but the cashier thought it was discontinued...as if it was a seasonal flavor like "Summer Colada." So for those two reasons they get 4 stars. Ive never had a "bad" experience, and all the other employees are knowledgeable and very friendly.

This is a great wine store, plethora of options, knowledgeable staff to help you pair wines and choose quality liquors. They also have a great selection of wine accessories and gift wrapping. If you need a gift on the fly, this is a good place to come. Everything you could want is there.

Staff is racially discriminatory. I have been singled out on numerous occasions, and subjected to additional questioning unlike other patrons. Will never go back because of their unequal approach of handling their clientele. Customers of color beware.

Horrible customer service. Had a broken cork on a whiskey bottle. Asked if they could do anything about it and they pretty much told me to go buy a bottle of glue. Any other store would have replaced the bottle. Shop elsewhere.
