After watching three white couples pay with their credit cards and not be asked for identification either for the bottles or to weigh against their signed credit cards. I was afforded the privilege of being asked for my identification, to be weighed against my signed credit card and not even for evidence of my age. When I asked the guy behind the counter why he asked me for my identification and not them, he replied that they had made an online purchase. And when I laughed at the excuse he came back with " they are our customers anyway". Both of these statements are lame. Im offended that I was in a hurry and had to spend my money on people that insult my people. That was my fault. Next time I wont buy from this place and I think that if you are black and tired of paying people to insult you that you should not buy from them and also write a review. No need to get upset and give them a reason to call the police and act like you are going to do something. Just dont spend your money and pass the word around that they play these old tired games.

Its hard to find customer service like this. Everyone knows their wines and will gladly take the time to help you find exactly what youre looking for. Even if you walk in saying "I dont know what I want but Im looking for a sweet Reisling, but not too sweet, and a little tart" they will show you several options, explain their differences, and do it with a smile. Im lucky I only live around the corner but even if I didnt Id still come here to buy my booze. Thanks guys!

Very friendly, well stocked for this narrow/long wine and liquor shop. I found 3 bottles of a hard to find bourbon that I like at a REALLY good price. Definitely a place I would be visiting again!
