This place has become too well known. It was a hidden gem. I have known about this place for 20years it feels like. The pottery used to be heavy and sturdy now its light and mass produced it feels like. Its definitely worth the trip. Beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery, ornaments, scarfs, soap; way cheaper then Woodstock. I dont mind supporting an aspiring artist but the prices here have inflated greatly. When I buy pottery I want heavy duty because it last longer. I dont mean to right a bad review but if you have never been here, you must go but compared to years ago its changed a lot. Guess that just shows my age.

Crafts People is a destination. Its is a lovely drive to a charming family owned business in the country. We have been going there for over 16 years. When you walk in, you are offered a glass of wine, lemonade or cider and there is so much to see. Rudy and Mary, the owners, are very sweet and both artists. It is a great place to spend an afternoon and we always bring family and friends when they are in town. Highly recommend!

Fantastic inventory! So fun to shop around, have a glass of wine, and talk to the owners, Rudy and Mary. Good inventory of jewelry, paintings, and ceramics. Ask for Mary Elwyns silverware. I wish I could buy the entire set! Highly recommended.
