Prices are very good, but produce lasts a very short time, a lot of the cheese, and other packaged items are past expiration and show mold in some cases. The meat quality is below average. We purchased store packaged tuna cubes for grilling last year in the seafood section and got sick. If youre careful and selective; or need produce for the current day or the next, you can save money. They also have fun marketing and some colorful staff, but if you dont watch out, you wind up throwing the savings in the garbage.

Usually I shop at another best market but today being near this location I decided to pop in and buy a cake. I asked if the cakes were fresh the young lady said yes. So I bought a cake. Boy was I surprised when I returned home cut into the cake only to find the center was frozen? I mean seriously the knife wouldnt cut all the way through in the center. Sad

LOVE their produce. Their flower display has GREAT flowers at EXCELLENT prices. I buy the small bouquet for $5.99 and they last up to 3 weeks! The cashiers are a lot of fun. The only thing I dont prefer is their bakery. The Best Market West Babylon off Sunrise has a much better cake selection . Their cake designs are just beautiful!

Heres the thing about this particular store, the staff is terrible. And thats just a reflection of the management. Ive witnessed a manager have a meltdown in the middle of the produce section. Which brings me to my next point, if you buy produce from Best Market, eat it quick. It goes bad fast.

Chicken salad was expiring Monday 6/26 guessed it was made a few days ago and not made daily....passed and got some cold cuts and fried chicken w/c was nice crispy and good flavor
