This shop is a dream come true. I was completely stoked when I received the news about that both my tattoo artist were teaming up and made the decision to open Hudson Valley Tattoo Co. This shop is absolutely gorgeous, its clean, inviting, efficient, well priced, and the staffs not bad to look at either. I have been getting tattooed by Diego since I randomly found him in 2006 and basically never left; love every single portrait and piece of work from him on my body. He is truly an amazing artist and a good friend. I have also been getting tattooed by Shish since 2007 and love every piece of work he has contributed to my ever growing collection. I have yet to have the honors of being tattooed by Jason or Greg (minus my little friendship tattoo, he did that I adore), but i cannot wait to be under the machine with them. The ladies holding down the front desk Erica & Whitney are by far the cutest/sweetest/well accommodating people I have ever meet, they make the experience of going to the shop magical. I love that this shop also has so many guest artist from all over giving this area the opportunity to get tattooed by talented artist from different areas. I look forward to their many years of them having success and cannot wait to see what other works of art will be coming out of this shop. I say they are the best shop in the area, but you dont have to listen to me their work speaks for itself.

I have been getting work done with Diego since he owned his first shop in Highland, NY, and had been a big fan of Mikes work through discovering him on Instagram...the two of them together is just incredible, and makes me feel incredibly lucky to live here. Their styles contrast one anothers perfectly, and then throw in the awesome up and comer Greg, and a huge number of guest artists that rarely came through the area until these guys opened up, and you have all the makings of near perfection. The shop itself is in a nice location, right off of the main road. Inside, youre welcomed by always friendly reception staff, and a gorgeous interior, filled with hundreds of fantastic flash sheets , and the most coma inducing comfortable couches Ive ever experienced. Everyone is incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Theyll always tell you what they think about a design, or if what you want is possible. They wont steer you wrong! Go set up your appointments, because they stay constantly booked, and rightfully so.

Shish is currently working on a full sleeve on my left arm, and after 5 long sessions I cannot be happier with the work and his professionalism during the process. The shop is always clean and very welcoming. Bathrooms and waiting area are all well maintained and the artwork and interior design is fantastic. I also love how open the tattooing area is and wish more shops adopted this layout. Its much more communal and less "cubicle" feeling, which is really welcoming when you are laying in one spot for a few hours. The shop also gets a ton of natural light which really contributes to the overall aesthetic of the shop. I would highly recommend these guys if you are looking to get any kind of work done. I live in Brooklyn, and have been gladly making the 90 minute trip up. Theres a ton of beautiful hikes and activities in the Hudson Valley, so make be sure to check out the local sights before or after you get tattooed.

Hands down the best tattoo company within the Hudson Valley, maybe even the North East! The core group of artists are indescribably phenomenal at their craft, with each artist having a taste for something a little different. Do not be afraid to bring your ideas to any member of this team, because thats what they are; a TEAM. Each artist is not afraid to admit that someone else might be better suited for what youre looking for, which always always always allows the client to get the best tattoo possible. Both myself and my girlfriend have been tattooed at this shop, and will continue to. Sanitation and Sterilization is of the utmost importantance here and it shows. Good music, good vibes, and good laughs makes sitting for a long session so much better. I seriously cant recommend these guys enough. Their work speaks for its self. Rock on HVTC.

Ill start off by saying how extremely clean and welcoming Hudson Valley Tattoo Company is. The first time I walked into Hudson Valley Tattoo Company I was greeted with a smile from the shop manager Erica and a handshake from both the owners Mike and Diego. I spent some time reviewing all of the artists portfolios and decided to talk over some design ideas with Mike Shishmanian. I explained what I was looking to get done and after seeing my ideas on paper in decided to pull the trigger. I have approximately 20 hours of chair time spent with Mike Shishmanian and approximately 10 hours chair time with Greg Rosenfeld and I could not be happier! I wear all of their artwork with pride and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great quality tattoo.

This place is incredible! I live in the east village, NYC with plenty of tattoo shops at my doorstep but chose to head upstate to have my tattoo updated and added onto. From start to end HVTC was professional and fun to work with. The shop is spotless and everyone is super friendly and so talented. My artist Taka is an incredible creative with great energy and focus. I love my new tattoo!! The detail, shading, placement, movement and color is top notch. Im recommending him to everyone. This place is a MUST for anyone wanting to get their body not simply inked with cookie cutter stencil tattoos but adorned with ART!

Not only is HVTC a super clean shop with a welcoming atmosphere, but they are turning out the absolute best tattoo work the Hudson Valley and beyond has to offer. With a stellar, friendly, and talented in-house crew plus a revolving door of the amazing guest artists from around the world, there is no need to even consider another tattoo shop. I have several pieces from Shish and could not be happier with them. Diego, Shish, Greg, and Jay have such different styles, this shop will meet and exceed anyones wants and expectations. Always. ROCK!

Simply put, this is the best tattoo shop in the area. Every artist (whether theyre resident or special guests) deliver unwavering quality in their work. After 15+ hours of having work done at this place, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone in this shop is crazy talented, fun to hang out with, and above all, professional. If youre uncertain of a design or have a rough idea of a piece youd like done, the guys will be able to help create a work that the customer will enjoy and will ultimately look awesome. Top notch.

Had the opportunity to get a Tattoo done by Tyler. Went in with a few ideas and Tyler killed it!! 4 1/2 hrs first session and couldnt ask for anything better. He ran with my idea and took it to another level. Couldnt have picked a better tattoo artist, he was professional, courteous and his skills kick ass. Have 3 more sessions lined up and looking forward to my relationship with Hudson Valley Tattoo. Work as a Salesman at Midhudson Subaru and telling everybody to go see Tyler! Great work guys.
