I was so insulted and disrespected. Ive gone there previously for piercings and Id always say that I would get my future tattoos here but I went today for my first tattoo, on a whim. I knew I wanted to incorporate two colors into an awareness ribbon representing two of my conditions. From the get go, the tattooer (he never told me his name) told me that I should feel free to shout stop whenever the pain was getting too much, maybe about twice a minute. I got it on my ankle, maybe 3 inches in total. Around an hour in, he started to become really rude and arrogant which I thought was just sarcasm but it wasnt. Other workers in the place began to make remarks about how I couldnt just sit there and let him work. Granted, I did ask him to stop quite often, only because he told me I can. Any who, he said stuff like "yeah Im adding more ribbons! now the colors arent even standing for anything. and the puerto rican flag too" which makes zero sense, Im a blatant white girl. lol he stopped before he finished saying that I was too much and basically didnt want to work on my anymore. I refused to leave with a half-ass tattoo so I asked him if he can actually finish the shading and whatnot. He did - not without snarky remarks. All in all I am very disgusted with my treatment. I would absolutely not recommend going there if youre not willing to deal with attitudes like that. The owner on the other hand has an awesome personality.

I would highly recommend going to Bullseye Tattoo to anyone looking for superior, quality work. I am currently having a custom sleeve worked on by Liz Manzolini and could not be happier. She is not only incredible friendly, but an amazing and intelligent artist who does outstanding work. I was expecting a great tattoo and am currently getting something above and beyond anything I could have expected. I could not be happier with the process and the artwork. The artists are more than happy to work with you to develop something that is truly unique. The shop is clean, friendly, and very fairly priced. The other artists also do amazing work and are also very friendly. You get more than what you pay for. If you are looking for a great place in the NYC area to get an amazing tattoo, this is the place for you.

I have been a client of Victor Modafferi for a while now and I hafta say, he is the best black and gray tattoo artist in New York. Myself, my boyfriend and my brother have gotten tattoos with him and will never use anyone else. His work is the absolute best from a conceptual standpoint as well as looking incredible. As far as the environment of the shop goes, it is clean, sanitary and overall just an extremely pleanant place to get tattooed. As far as the prices go, they reflect the exceptional quality of Victors work and I look at it this way - you get what you pay for. So simply put, if you want the best black and gray realistic tattoo you can get, contact Victor!

I went to Bullseye for my first tattoo... I was quite nervous but Steve Skelly who inked my skin was really good at making me feel comfortable and put me at ease straight away. The tattoo tuned out great, I am really pleased with it... My second tattoo has been made by Liz Manzolini who was just brilliant... she is really good at what shes doing and I had a great time and great conversations while she was getting the ink under my skin... Everyone at the shop was very friendly, welcoming and professional. They know what they are doing, they enjoy what they are doing and you can see it from the second you enter the shop...

Laura Mar 22, 2011--- I Love, Love, Love, my tattoo it is just what I wanted thanks to Steve Skelly, he did a fantastic job on it , I held onto a picture of what I wanted for a year, now I will wear it forever and I cant wait to have another piece added on to make it complete, hes a great artist and he showed an honest interest in wanting to do my tattoo when I showed him the picture last year and thats something I did not find in others, he completely won me over and I remembered that till I was ready to have it done, any one getting a tattoo done by Steve will love his work, Bullseye was a great experience!!!

The shop is not only super clean and well designed, the artists there are so talented and have great personalities, the environment is definitely a place to be in. I got tattooed by the owner Victor Modafferi and by Steve Skelly and will be by Liz Manzolini....I walked in gave them artist choice and came out completely impressed. I live in atlanta and cannot wait to come back so I can get more work done...... This by far is one of my favorite shops and will continue to be for a long time. If you want custom work those talented brains are where to go!!!!!

I have been going to Bullseye Tattoo Shop for many years and I cant believe I have not written a review on Google but I have many on Yelp. They have been voted " Best Tattoo Shop", by the Staten Island Advance. Victor Modafferi is my primary artist and to see how he and his staff have evolved over time is such a pleasure. Quality, cleanliness, meticulous attention to detail and creative geniuses are just a few ways I would describe this establishment. I get to wear my art on my sleeves and I am proud to say that Bullseye Tattoo Shop is the place to go.

Getting inked is all about the experience as well as a lifetime investment ,once you go to Bullseye there is no doubt in my mind that it will be a time you will never forget , The shops " Magic" the artists are incredible talents with some amazing personalities . I am really big on customer service and these guys and gals know how to make you feel taken care of .I currently have 3 pieces from various artists as well as bringing my 19 year old son to get his 1st tattoo before heading to Iraq. I could not recommend a better place.

I just got a tattoo there done by Liz Manzolini. I cant vouch for everyone else there (although I have heard VERY good things about them) but Liz was AWESOME! She looked at my design, gave me a more than fair price and got me in right then with no appointment. She did great work, paying great attention to detail and was a joy to chat with during the process. I would definitely go back!

Liz is a amazing artist she designed what I wanted and did a more than awesome tattoo that im proud to have on my body. Also a great person and a pleasure to talk to. Saw Victor working on a bear for another customer and it was looking pretty sweet but didnt see it completed.

Just finished a large piece on my arm by Victor(owner) and I couldnt be happier with it. The shop is very clean and the artists/employees are all very sociable and fun to talk to. I recommend everybody to this shop and will be going back for years to come.
