I visited the store for the first time yesterday (7/21/16) due to recommendation from a co-worker who stated she felt I could find a product I have been looking for. I was disappointed to find that you do not carry the desired product. I bought a substitute to experiment with and then decided to get hair dyes. I asked for help with that and then went and paid finding out that the hair dye was on sale. She rang up the purchase and then I inquired as to the length of the sale. The date prompted me to purchase additional due to the end date of the sale. Asked for a Sally Card and was told it had to be a purchase of $25. I pointed out that the two purchases minutes from each other totaled over that amount, but they refused saying it had to be one purchase. This is unjust and made me not even want to return again. I may , but I think this was just not the way to keep a regular customer , that would even promote your store to friends. This is BAD business and the Manager of the store does her best to avoid customers.and her responses to the clerk helping me were short and cold. Thank you, Vicki

This is the 2nd time and last time I had a bad experience here, because I will not return. Whoever works the opening shift in the Shirley location on Thursdays is very rude. Sits in the back watching television shows on her phone and when you need help, its like youre bothering her and she doesnt want to get up from her chair in the storage room. The first time I went in there and she was working, I just left my stuff on the counter and walked out because I was not acknowledged for over 10 minutes. Im a business owner and I wouldnt want someone who is not interested in doing their job working for my store. Over the years, I was a huge fan of Sallys and spent a lot of money there. I had been a loyal customer for years. Not anymore. Will not go back.

Employees are rude and think they know it all. Very uneducated on hair and in general and also know nothing about the products carried in store. I figured since it was a new store they would eventually clear out bad employees, but its been a few years now and the same nasty manager is still there. Its a shame that i drive to the riverhead location and live in Shirley, its that bad.
