All three of my daughters (12, 13 & 20) and myself have been going to Dr. Ryan for years now. My oldest daughter had a terrible staph infection in her eye about 6 years ago that Dr. Ryan was incredibly diligent in treating. His knowledge, genuine care and incredible "bed side manor" was not only reassuring but blew me away. He even called after business hours (including weekends) to ensure the treatment was working and to ease our worry. I was a little concerned one Sunday when her vision went dark and he opened up the office just so I could bring her in to be seen. I trust him implicitly with mine and my childrens vision. My only complaint would be that he doesnt practice general medicine also in order to be our primary physician.

Great care! The reception team is great - compassionate when youre not feeling well and willing to laugh at your jokes when you emerge from an exam. Particularly impressed with the docs - always great care and when I had a particularly bad bout of pink eye - again, took the extra time to check in with me and provide treatment that made recovery a lot faster. There is also a great team of stylists up front so if you need a pair of glasses, they really work with you to fit you with a frame that looks great and fit right. They handle things right whether the little check up to the times you really need their help. Love them.

My son and I have been patients of Dr. Ryans for several years. My son has special needs and Dr. Ryan treats him like everyone else. Shortly before Christmas 2015, I began experiencing flashes and floaters in one eye. I called Dr. Ryan the day after Christmas and he met me at the office about an hour later. Following an exam, Dr. Ryan sent me to a Retina specialist as a precaution. Ive also seen Dr. DePaolis and both doctors are very knowledgeable & AT LEAST 5 stars. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Ill continue to trust my eye care to Visionary Eye Associates.

I have gone to Dr Ryan for years for my general eye care. I recently developed an issue with my right eye that needed immediate attention. Dr. Ryan immediately made time for me. After a very thorough professional exam he determined that I had a tear in my retina. I was very concerned. He compassionately reassured me. He arranged for a specialist to see me. In less than 24 hours Dr. Ryan diagnosed my problem and saw to it that it was corrected. He and his whole team are fantastic!!!

Very professional ,very nice, they greet you when you enter. Call for you promptly, explain everything throughly. This trip we needed new glasses, Ron one of the opticians was very helpful in assisting and ensuring we had the perfect pair of glasses explained all the extras so you could really decide if they were needed . I was extremely impressed with Dr. Sus "beside manner" and professionalism throughout the entire appointment. She was the first doctor who I felt genuinely concerned about my eye health. She did some diagnostic testing and went into detail about various treatments that could possibly help my situation. I never felt rushed or like a burden. I would highly recommend Dr. Su as I believe she is one of the better Optho/Optometrist in the Rochester area.

I have been getting my eyes and vision checked by Dr Ryan at Visionary Eye Associates for many years. The whole office has been very professional and also very pleasant and helpful. I also appreciate that they have a place in their office where you can pick out your glass frames if needed and have your prescription filled and glasses fitted to you. Whenever I have called in with questions or problems the staff are very helpful and I always recieved a call back from them or the Drs by end of the day. I did wait a little long at my last visit, the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars, but that was not normal of my past experiences.
