Owners are white cowards I was there the other day and witnessed a large black woman verbally accost a senior citizen white man. She kept yelling "yous need to respec mah president" and other jargon only some of which was understandable. The man look annoyed but tried ignoring her. She followed him to the front of the store until he told her to mind her own business and leave him alone. Well, the coward white owners banned the white guy. So if youre white and want to take a chance of going in there and getting yelled at by a minority and having the owners ban you from the place go ahead and enjoy. Thats right. The owner will allow senior citizen abuse. Oh, did I mention he is constantly being heard about how he is a big Trump supporter. Thats right. And we all know how Trump feels about women and minorities and gays. And thats the majority customer base for this guy. So he doesnt actually care about them, he just doesnt want to be picketed by BLM or a gay rights group. Money. Thats all he is concerned about. Not some some racist black lady abusing a senior citizen. Nope. Hes a Trump supporter whos main customer base he obviously doesnt like since Trump doesnt like them. Hes the worst kind of person. A hypocritical coward. He puts money before anything else. He supports Trump but caters to the groups Trump doesnt like. As far as the food and coffee? The coffee is a distant second to Starbucks and most of the food is bland.

I have never been disappointed by Leaf & Bean. Each drink, every meal, and each dessert has been top notch. When I adopted a gluten-free diet a few months back, I found that coffee shops dont typically carry gluten-free treats. What a pleasant surprise to see an assortment of gluten-free baked goods at Leaf & Bean! Two came home with me and the decaf iced Cafe Americano was fantastic. Thanks, Leaf & Bean! (and the freshly ground French Roast beans in regular and decaf make a tasty half-caf cup of coffee at home)

I love this place dearly; Ive been going for years (about 9 years now). The prices are insane now. Most of the sandwiches (which are delicious) are at $7.00 or are a few pennies shy of it. A meal (which if you get a drink, can easily go over $10) there is like going out to eat at a restaurant; its turning into a Starbucks... Its just not as affordable for the atmosphere its trying to create. That said, its still an awesome, go-once-in-a-while place with good food, just not somewhere to go regularly anymore.

I stopped by one a trip and got a frozen coffee drink and a pastry. The drink was exceptional. Blended very well and really smooth with a unique flavor. The pastry was also great. Flaky and lighy. Not a cheap poorly made pastry. The service was friendly and helpful. Definitely bypass Dunkin, Starbucks, and Tim Hortons and check out this place!

Great service even on the day that this cafe was really busy on a Saturday morning! I asked if they could make a Flat White which is a fav of mine from S and they were happy to oblige! It was nice and hot and delicious at a price point of $4 for a Grande. That same size at S is over $5. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Food is great, service not so much. I walked in the door at 5:55 and they would only serve me coffee. Website says you close at 6, I take that to mean you serve customers until 6. If thats not the case then be more specific. I made a special trip just for one of their salads. Last time I do that.

One of the best kept secret coffee houses in upstate NY. Everything is great...from the mocha cappuccino to the well designed interior. FYI - Id you are hungry...the "davinci" sandwich is phenomenal! It comes with a great cup of dressing for dipping too!

I started going to the Leaf & Bean from the time they first opened. Ive since moved to North Carolina, and the L&B is my first stop when I come back north to visit. Yes, we have coffee cafes in NC, but they just dont measure up to "The Bean".

Fine establishment. The staff, though made up of mostly 18-29 year-olds, are always working and happy. I think a pleasant staff always said a lot about a place. Coffee is good, service is great. I look forward to watching them expand.

One of my favorites. Good selection of coffee and other espresso based drinks. Be sure to grab one of the colorful-faced cookies! Their lunch selection is also underrated. Any of their soups and sandwiches are terrific.

Long time favorite of mine! Always great food and coffee. Its always busy at lunch times so best to go early or later (avoid 11-2 if you are in a hurry). Great desserts as well make it a perfect stop after dinner.

The other options seemed good but the syrups they use in their speciality coffees are too sweet with the Splenda blend. I did not enjoy my Cafe Monaco.
