This is a gem of Greece. I had passed by this cafe numerous times before deciding to try it out with a friend. Upon walking in, I immediately felt at home; there were small rooms off to each side, childrens art covering the walls, plaques and paintings of coffee, a chess board, and worn-in leather wing back chairs in the corner. The menu was what you would expect at a coffee shop-mochas, lattes, espresso, chai and iced coffee. They also had delicious-looking pastries for sale, adorable coffee mugs and even advertised a yearly membership that would cover the cost of your coffee/tea there for a year. The gentleman who took my order, then made my drink, was polite, warm and friendly, and even customized my drink for something that wasnt technically on the menu. There was a sense of community there, as small children played and talked with their families, college students studied, friends chatted. I will keep going here, and recommending this place to everyone. New Roots is a perfect spot to get away while still being close to everything Greece has to offer. Love the atmosphere, coffee was phenomenal. Definitely will be back!

The place Was in Rochester for a visit and found this cool little coffee shop off Ridge Rd and had to stop. It looks like a house that was converted into a coffee shop. They had plenty of room actually rooms. They have several small rooms where you can sit and enjoy coffee. I love they have local kids art all over the walls. Great way to support the local area and the arts. The staff I dont remember their names but they they very gracious at helping me pick a latte. They have a huge number of choices of flavors to pick from. Top notch customer service for every question I asked. It was also nice seeing they knew a few people who came in by name which shows people come her often. The coffee I ordered a iced Caramel latte which was great. So many times places put way to much sugar in their lattes which I hate. This had a great balance of coffee to caramel. The verdict I would definitely love to come back try more of their menu especially some of nice looking baked goods and food options I saw!

I went to New Roots for the first time recently and I was highly impressed! I dont often sit down for coffee, mostly because I dont like the feeling of others impeeding on my conversations. This wasnt an issue at all! When I walked in the atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming. The barista was knowledgeable in what she was serving and what it tasted like. This helped me make a quick, decisive decision in the coffee I wanted. All additives were easily accessible with no line or mess. Probably my favorite part of the experience was that there were multiple rooms and tables for people to sit at to talk and drink their beverages. It wasnt cramped and at no point did I feel like I was competing to have my conversations. I would absolutely go back to New Roots!!

Awesome find. I drive by here all the time and I wish I had checked this place out sooner. I had my first new roots experience today and I was quite satisfied. They serve finger lakes coffee which is excellent, and the barista was very nice and gave me the run through since I mentioned it was my first time there. The I nside is so quaint and cozy you could easily spend a few hours in there. Everything is very clean and has that nice rustic feel of a good coffee shop. Theyve definitely won my business!

I tried an iced coffee over the summer at the Greece Ridge market and now Im hooked. The Finger Lakes coffee they serve is AMAZING. They always have fun flavors readily available (try the Rainforest Crunch and Jamaican Me Crazy). Their house blend is equally delicious. Good prices, LOVELY service, nice atmosphere. Quiet and quaint. Also has a loyalty program, which I love.

The coffee is great, but thats the least worthy reason to visit! Newer to this part of Rochester, Ive spent a couple of months looking for a place to crash and let my creative juices flow; well Ive found it at last. The atmosphere feels like a home where kids were always told to pursue their dreams and art and music reigned supreme. Totally comfortable, vibrant, and warm.

Delicious and Friendly. Ive stopped in several time since they opened and tried both plain and flavored coffees - all have been excellent, smooth, and never bitter. Strength is medium - perfect for my tastes. Chairs, tables, and new rear deck - all nice. Tonite I picked up a pound of Raspberry Chocolate Cream beans - so I can get some New Roots at home too!

Its been years of me visiting this coffeehouse. I love the home feeling this place gives from the second you walk through the door to the second you walk out. Million times better than any corporate coffee shop in the area, and 9 times outta 10 its going to be faster too. The artwork around on the walls is awesome too along with the crew!

Its a real coffee shop in Greece. They serve Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters! Charming atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have live music, open mic nights, chess club, and its attached to a music school. Its my go to for studying, reading, or a quick date with the wife.

This is an amazing place to sit back and relax. The atmosphere is beautiful and the employees are super friendly. You cannot go wrong ordering any of the coffee drinks. It plays great music, there is beautiful artwork to look at, and its a magical place.

This coffee shop is a favorite for my entire family. We go here less often than wed like, but try to stop by at least 2 times per month. Its just casual and friendly and very aware of what makes a great place to hang out.

Very artsy, they had a great selection of drinks, and the barista was friendly and helpful. I will say, this is a good venue for 2 or three to get together. A group of people will find it difficult to sit together.

This place is really great. Small, not very loud, and really friendly staff. However, if you are going there to get work done on their free WiFi, I might reconsider. Their WiFi isnt so great, but their coffee is.

We take our kids here for piano lessons. Nice small coffee shop atmosphere. Free wifi. They dont allow bringing in your own food/drink to consume while you wait for the kids.
