Issue: Shattered iPhone 6 glass. Love the decor of the place - bonus Professional appearance - bonus Professional, but approachable staff - bonus Fixed my iPhone 6 screen in 20 minutes - bonus No appointment. Walked in and they got right on it - bonus Thats five bonuses. Now for the extra credit. Like I said, the staff were approachable and ready to explain, and simply explained they did. I find this very important in any business. They answered all my questions, were very friendly, and even gave me a discount on the new screen since the old digitizer was still functional. So heres where it gets interesting. The replacement started to fail, almost immediately. Called them back, and they said bring it back at no charge and no hassle (30 day guarantee). They installed a second screen, and even thought it held for a while, it started to fail again. Called them the next day and they were befuddled for sure. I dont exactly live near the area, so I planned a Sky Zone trip with my son, while they could work on it a third time, again at no cost. When I called them back, they were quick to acknowledge that they had been discussing this for a while, and quite perplexed. Stated that they have never had this happen before. The next day, Tim worked his magic, did some "extra" stuff to see if it would clear up any issues. He even spent extra time to ensure the new screen worked as advertised. All this, without getting nasty, or snooty, or acting like Im an illiterate tech junky (Im an EE, and well aware of the technology btw). The phone works like the day I picked it up at AT&T. Extra Extra Bonus - The price was reasonable considering the convenience. Extra Extra Extra Bonus - They have free coffee while you wait, and they recommended an excellent place to eat afterwards. IMO, a business that has face-to-face customer contact should always make them feel like theyre in good hands. This business accomplishes that, even though its just repairing a cell phone...but try to put your cell phone away for a day, then see how good this place really is. One down side - They dont always state their personal name when you call. Thats a pet peeve of mine. I certainly hope they maintain this level of professionalism, as I would recommend it to my best friend.

I am posting this review in response to an issue that is becoming much too prevalent as of late; and I fear that it will only get worse and worse as the days progress into months, and months to years. There is a review of this company posted in this review section, yet it is a duplicate, if you will. Though the two reviews are not entirely identical, they each share with them the same exact experience and also the same details. In other words, they are one in and of the same, share the same author, yet they are worded differently. The person to whom I am referring is Vicki Riggi. Now, Vicki Riggi appears to be a very, very nice and respectable person online. I truly believe that she believes this company caused her daughters phone to succumb to water damage, but that just isnt likely. I dont think it was right for Vicki Riggi to post two negative reviews for the same exact incident, especially so when she could have easily edited her review and been done with it. I see that she created two separate Google accounts for her reviews, each of which used only once to post a review, so it is possible that she no longer had valid credentials required to access the original account as a result of forgetting the password and likely creating the original account in haste. What I believe to have happened is that the daughter somehow caused the water damage to the device; as a result of spilling a liquid onto the device, introduction or submersion into a body of water, or possibly rain fall. Regardless of the cause of destruction, the most probable of reasons is the aforementioned theories, and the reason for the daughter not telling the mother is in fear of the mother refusing to purchase another device for her college-aged or high-school-aged daughter. Regardless of it all, I think that the second review was overkill and rude. But, only the action, not the person. I have never visited this company, nor have I ever met anybody here. I am merely checking out random reviews as a time-killing mechanism while I await something. I always take my devices to their home (Apple,) so I never have to worry. Anyways, sorry for the equally rude post in retaliation to the topic at hand.

I help run a digital animation class using ipads during the summer, and Ive taken about a dozen ipads that have been cracked over the last few years to these guys. Every one was replaced under price from competitors and without flaw or noticeable drop in quality from the original. Then about a week ago I had a problem with my iphone 6. I came back to them because theyve done great work in the past for me. Apple told me that I needed a new battery and lightning port and that it would be too expensive to justify the work. They offered me a low trade-in value. I then took my phone to Fix In a Zip. They not only replaced the battery at about half the Apple quoted price, but they also found out that the lightning ports connection was simply loose. They didnt overcharge me like they could have, they were honest. Now my phone is like new again. They saved me a huge amount of money. The tech there did great work, was personable, and polite. Even better, the Manager noticed that I was looking through a half price bin of phone cases and then offered "Hey, I have a spare case." one she had left over without packaging. The case was in perfect shape, and she offered it to me free of charge. I can tell they are really trying to build a strong business here. They have my patronage for any and all tech repair work I will ever need. Great shop, dont hesitate to use them.

I went to fix my iphone se screen after dropping it accidentally. The store seemed very modern, and has a decent price tag ($67 to replace the screen), I thought I found the right place. However, when the phone is ready for pickup, I realized the immediate change in screens quality. I know the replacement screen cannot be the same as the original ones, but at lease it should look similar considering the price they charge. Im not a hardware professional in anyway, but the differences were so great that it is hard to miss. The screen had a visible blue tint, and not nearly as bright. When nightshirt mode turned on, I tried turning down down the brightness, and the screen was so dim that I could barely see any color. Also, the screen seems to be a lot thicker, instead of sitting almost flush to the metal body like to original screen, it protruded out and my protective case no longer fit. I ended up buying the a $56 screen on IFixIt online, and replaced the screen myself with a little help from YouTube. The reason I give 2 star is because they did return my cracked screen and give me a refund.
