Ive been going here for years, its the closest market in my neighborhood. They seem to be adding more healthy options.. very good in my opinion. This store is moderately affordable.. the organic foods a lil higher.. which isnt much to choose from: they only offer organic fruits n veggies, whole grains, milk and eggs. The only complaint that seems to be often a pain is when the workers are in the way of the aisles and the boxes are stacked in the way of items and crates arent cleared out of the aisle floor, its annoying as hell. A lot of the workers here seem to be hispanic and know very little english.. in a place where hipsters seem to be growing in population in bk. The communication seems to be poor.

Their produce leaves much to be desired. Many things are bruised, punctured, moldy, etc. And the prices ARE NOT cheap. They do not have a butcher counter so their "fresh meat" is suspect, and I have definitely gotten spoiled meat here before. The up side is their cheese selection, their eastern european imported items, but thats about it. Too bad its the closest grocery to me.

Packaged grocery section is large, clean and organized. The produce is very hit or miss, and can be very over priced - once they charged almost $7 for asparagus! Also, there is always a nasty, mildewy smell in the back corner by the dairy.

Clean, have seen the same employees there for 6 years so it must be a nice place to work. We get best-in-neighborhood deals on some packaged goods like OJ, beer, cheese, molasses, etc., and they have fresh donuts for 50¢! Parking lot.

In general better than the Myrtle Ave Food Bazaar for meat and goods but for produce Id either head to Valentinos up in Fresh Pond or the Food Bazaar.
