I have been shopping here for years on and off. Some prices are a bit high but still reasonable for the quality. I especially enjoy the scanners they provide you with to help you stay within your budget. You also learn about any specials they may be having in the store. As you shop you get to bag your items. When you are ready to checkout, all thats left is to hand the cashier your scanner and pay. Very simple shopping. I also really appreciate the clean open floor plan and feeling of the store. Theres even a special section of organic items.

ROTTEN MEAT! They have a great selection and all, and my first time going there I bought some chicken legs to make today, open the package and it smelled horrifically! I defrosted it this mornign and I could tell it was double wrapped and a double sticker on it but I didnt notice then. Please be careful when buying Perdue Fresh meat here, as now I have to go back and return the Spoiled meat to the Stop and shop. Very inconvenient and I hope this does not become a recurring thing with them,.

This location has everything you need (hence the "super" in Super Stop & Shop I guess). Deli counter is huge but almost always a 5-10 minute wait minimum (and they no longer have the option to put in your deli order on the kiosk and shop while its prepared). Their sales can be excellent. Parking not as bad as it seems when you come in on the first level -- drive up the ramp and take the elevator down to store level!

This store is always nice and clean. They also are very good about their instock position and sale prices. However today there was a long line at both the self Check-out and the registers. The customer in front of me had an issue with a price and took excessively long to resolve the issue. I was about to leave but the associate behind customer service was kind enough to process my order.

I like this Stop and Shop because of the quality of their product offerings, complete with a bakery, butcher, fish monger, etc. This place has a leg up on Trader Joes since I like my Campbells soups, Kraft mac and cheese, Lean Cuisines, and other standard brand name items without any experimentation. Also a very convenient location with a free parking lot connected to the supermarket.

Stop and Shop is the best place in the neighborhood for groceries. Produce and bakery departments especially are strong, which is the exception around here. Unlike nearby Trader Joes, parking is easy. A Starbucks in the store near the entrance is a nice benefit, though service there is slow if there is a line since there is only one employee. Contains a Redbox for movie rentals.

After the recent remodel, the store seems to have a greater selection of organic and healthy foods. If you have a shoppers card, the self scanner helps you shop and pack which speeds up the checkout. Bring your own bags to save 5 cents each. A Starbucks is also int he store right by the entrance so that you can have a drink while you shop -- cup holder on sopping carts.

I drive past two other stop & shops (Glendale and Maspeth) to come to this one. Its much bigger, cleaner, less crowded, and has longer hours than all of the other supermarkets in the area. We shop grocery items here, deli and meat when the meat is on sale. (Typically we go to Food Bazaar at Myrlte/Wyckoff for meat and produce as it is much cheaper than stop & shop.)

Always have shelves and the cold and frozen stuff stocked. Not crowded. The store is always clean and the staff pleasant. It beats the stop and shop on Grand Ave Maspeth. I would rather drive a few extra miles to the S and S on Union Turnpike to buy my groceries from and I have been doing that for a few months. Goodbye Grand Ave S and S.

Parking is easy. Large isles and does not seem crowded. Good gluten free selections. Prices are fair and can find good items on sale. For supermarkets in queens/ forest hills vicinity where the experience feels hectic due to lack of food quality , no parking and small sizes, this is a enjoyable change.

This place has completely gone downhill. They no longer have scan it, nor does the deli kiosk work, and the ticket dispenser for the deli gets hidden when theyre busy. Waited on line 10 minutes before I saw someone walk up and take a ticket. Their selection of everything, from rice to yogurt has shrunk.

Lots of product variety, staff is usually friendly, florist on premises, Starbucks if you need a caffeine fix and plenty of parking. The only down side is that since it is so popular you need to shop early if you want sale items, especially in the meat department.

always love going to this supermarket. They usually have everything I need. Love the sales the have. They also offer jobs to the disabled community. Love love love this about this branch. They give them an opportunity to work and feel better about themselves.

Freshest seafood and deli in a supermarket. Rather big so its better to walk around the aisles. Have staff bagging for you. Good parking. Floor staff too busy having conversations to help customers and if you approach them they are quite nasty

Dont call here in the late afternoon/evening, thats when people working there are unreliable and rude at times. This one manager named "Jackie" recently gave me a hard time when I called the "customer service" department.

I do not like this Stop n Shop. The food is very expensive. It always looks like either they just ran out of food or they are about to stock up on food. There is free off the street parking. I only buy items on sale.

I think that stop & shop Is very over priced and has very little stock of food. In the store they never have what you want. In the store at all. Like milk or eggs butter or beard . When You need it

No scanners not good, baggers need to be trained cold goes with cold, hot go with hot eggs go separate from all food. Fresh produce goes with same stuff and bread to bread and cans with cans.

For some reason they refuse to put more people on register even though the lines are long and they have employees there to do so... I never go there on the weekends. Its a mad house.

This store started out great but it has gone downhill. You can never depend that they have stocked what you normally purchase from them. One week they have it the next they dont.

Produce not that great. Not as many selections.Deli department ugh!! Dirty used to be really good. The quality of the whole store isnt great. Shop Rite is the best.
