I completely disagree with the former review. The bagels at the Bagelry are great! They make fresh bagels every day, and you only get a day old bagel if you purposely buy them. The people are wonderful and if somehow you got a bagel that was hard, they would have given you a whole new sandwich, and probably a free brownie or something for the trouble! Ill put it this way, when my mom comes to visit, she wants to go to the Baglrey as many times as possible! You can buy bagels in bulk and they give you freezer bags, but fresh is definately the way to go!!!

When you go to the Bagelry, you cant expect NYC style bagels, because this isnt NYC, its northern NY State. I gotta give the place credit, they have some very creative little bagel sandwhiches-even more unique than most of the kinds I see downstate in NYC (Im a native NYC person). The bagels are small, but filling and they are perfect for a post-bar snack. Nothing hits the spot at 2:30 am like a chicken cordon blue bagel from the Bagelry. As long as your expectations arent too high, you wont be dissapointed. Miss ya Bagelry!

I am from the New York City area, and I have an affinity for bagels. This place is pretty good! There certainly isnt any other place in Potsdam to get bagels. Service came with a smile, but the bagel I had yesterday was definitely on the verge of stale and there was no need for the huge amount of cream cheese they applied. The sausage, egg, and Swiss I had today was very good! I will go back... Even though the young ladies behind the counter are extremely slow.

Quite good bagels, "made fresh every day", with quite a few sandwiches on them as well. They sell "second-day" bagels at a pretty reasonable price, but the sandwiches are pretty pricey and will take a couple minutes. The restaurant setup is rather sparse and spacious; probably a good place to spend an hour or two working, but too small to invite a large group.

Ive been coming here for years and now that there is new management and changes to the ingredients in the bagels and increase in prices, not too impressive. They used to deliver to the local town for college students... but thats no more either!

Good bagels and cookies. Good deals on "day-olds". Bad coffee and beverage selection. By no means should you actually eat there - place is a bit dirty despite the food being amazing.

Plain bagel with north country spread. Amazing! The other bagels and spreads are good too, but this is my favorite combo.
