Poor product, terrible customer service. I bought a pair of winter boots upon arriving in New York City in the middle of January. Paid full price in cash and threw away the receipt as everything I had read made me believe these boots would last me years, if not my whole life. After the first wear, a couple hours walking around in dry city conditions, the white piping running around the edge of the boot started to fray. After the next wear, it frayed more. I took pictures and emailed Sorel customer service. This was about a month ago now. No reply. Continued to wear them as they are my only boots - they continue to disintegrate. Emailed Sorel again, approximately 2 weeks later. STILL NO REPLY! Not even an automatic email saying they had received mine. EXTREMELY disappointing. If you are reading this Sorel customer service : pick up your game.

Called in to make sure I can return the boots I bought online. Spoke to a lady named Jasmine over the phone. Walked in and tried to return the boots and all I got was attitude. Spoke to lady manager on the floor. Awful attitude--she was not interested in helping and seemed she hated her life working at Sorel. Spoke to Stalin Guzman, the store operations manager. Same thing. Simply zero care and indifferent to whether or not the customers were satisfied. This all happened before the holidays as well...shocking. I understand that the store policy is separate than the online store--then maybe train your employees better to communicate accurate store policies so I wouldnt have to make the trip carrying 4 boxes down 15 blocks. Take your money elsewhere or to their online store.

Dont expect these people to know what they are talking about and dont expect them to stand by their return policy. They sold my husband a totally inappropriate pair of boots, and when we went to return them within the return period they refused. The manager acknowledged that they SHOULD return them, but the way their computers are set up they were unable to.

Excellent find and great staff! I was really impressed with the store and the staff who went out of their way (at a busy period) to help me find the right boots. Well worth checking... and close to the High line to try out your new boots :)
