Ordered on line. First there was an issue because I live in Canada and thats where my credit card information is. Not possible to include any information except with a US address even though the shipping was to New York. (AMAZING _ people actualu ship internationally - news to Show Parlor). Got that sorted out on the phone and was told the order would ship and arrive within 2-3 days. Got to New York and nothing. I called and was told that the order was given to someone else and that the shoes were on back order and would arrive "sometime next week. Never advised of this prior to calling. SInce I live in Canada and would not be around to accept the order whenb it arrived. I asked if they would cover the shipping Canada (it would be $25) because of their errot. No they said. Bad service. I wouldnt bother ordering again from them. Maybe the stores are cool but online service is totally bush league. Amateur hour.

Very dissatisfied customer. Do not order from this company. I ordered Frye boots. After waiting about 10 days I checked my account and it states in process/have not shipped. Finally, I called the store in New York and they informed me the boots were not in stock. When I asked what style of Frye boots they had in stock in my size, he informed me they did not have very many...mostly just odd sizes. I told him that the website was not accurate. He said there was a glitch in their system. If you notice from the Oct 2010 review, the customer had the same problem. Looks like they havent figured out their system in over a year!

AWESOME!! I ordered my shoes 2 days before Christmas Eve, online. Before ordering I called the store to confirm that I would receive them before Christmas if I paid the extra for 2 day shipping. The gentlemen who answered the phone was very informative and said to order regular shipping and I would get them, if I order 2 day shipping they would hold them for 2 days prior to shipping. as soon as I ordered them I received the order email. 10 mins later I received the FedEx tracking number via email. GREAT TIMING!! I would order from them again for sure. Thanks

I ordered a pair of shoes one day and received notice a day later that those were not in stock. Why didnt the computer tell me that it was no longer in stock. I already returned a pair of shoes to Zappos because these were the ones I really wanted. Bad service. PS- Called the store in NY to find out how a mistake like this could happen, could they find the shoes from the manufacturer, etc. And all she could do is apologize. I went back online and sure enough, the shoes are still showing up as in stock. come on folks- get it right.

I bought a pair of identical shoes 6 months ago from **another vendor in black** (Shoe Parlor overcharges!!!). Loved the original vendor and the whole experience. Husband in Hospice and was rushed and upset, and didnt realize I was using a different vendor. This was the very same style shoe, but this time in natural. This time it was from Shoe Parlor. Shoe Parlor charged me over $20. more for the same item. I wont shop there again. Under ordinary circumstances, I would have "caught it".

Just ordered shoes 2 days before Xmas. The online store is a little bit poor, so I called to double check, delivery was Switzerland. What can I say: After only 3 days, I got my shoes. Everything went perfectly right. I dont need this "...you are the greatest client for me...." talk on the phone. I need fast delivery, no mistakes, people who stick to their talk. And thats exactly wht I go here. Will def. buy again with Shoe-Parlor. Now my first choice.

Kept walking by, every time a pair of shoes would catch my eye. Finally caught them open, stopped in, loved the service, selection, attention. Made sure I had a right fit, important with medical issues...ended up buying 3 pairs. Incredible. If I visit again wouldnt mind shopping here again. They were also very courteous, greeting everyone as they walked in and offered to speak French or Spanish for anyone who needed. Staff worked together very well.

Poor service. I bought two pair of shoes. The cashier generously offered to keep the boxes to lighten my shopping bag load. After returning to the hotel a few blocks away, I found one pair not as comfortable as I thought. I immediately tried to return the shoes but because I didnt have the box they refused to allow return or exchange. There are too many wonderful and courteous shoe stores in NYC and I do not recommend this one.

I spoke with the Manager Jason, and he was extremely rude and condensing to me. I bought a pair of shoes that was too small. Due to the fact that I didnt return the shoes in the package it came in, he was unable to exchange the shoes for a larger size. I spent over $130 on the pair of Lucky Boots. I would recommend using another company that provides a higher level of customer service.

cool shoe store, small place that carries a little bit of everything. Was walking around one day and needed to get a pair of dress shoes. Usually all the dress shoes i wear kill my feet by the end of the day. Until i got a pair of ECCOs that salesman there recommended for me. Never buy another brand, I wear them to work eveyday.

I recently moved into the neighborhood and my father had told me about this shoe store. I needed some new shoes for work and ended up walking out of the store with 3 pair of shoes. The customer service is amazing and how they fit sooo many shoes in that store you would be AMAZED. I highly recommend shopping here.

Looked all over the Metro area for tall black classic UGGS went to their company stores and all, department stores everywhere, well I saw a review here and i called and they had what i wanted at a fair price, this store reminds me of an Old School NYC store from another era. Great staff, they have everything

Great staff.. walked in and you could tell the staff worked together as if they were family.. had to meet the owner on my way out.. great guy.. he told me most of the staff have over 10 years with the company and we even talked about his dog Ruby oh and hes a major Jets fan.. all from one visit.

Oh man, I was looking for my Wallabies for a good price and found them here. Cool people work here, although they talk slow. Really helpful staff and the lowest prices Ive seen for the shoes I buy. Good spot.

They sent the wrong pair of shoes to me, but quickly remedied it with free shipping and reimbursement for the box I had to buy to ship the wrong pair back. Very quick shipping, too. I ordered off of Amazon.
