Everyone is nice, but incompetent. I brought my car in as my front tire was leaking, Mavis informed me that my rim was cracked and that my back drivers side tire was cupping due to the fact I needed a new strut...I had another rim which we swapped out. Then I informed them my struts had been replaced little under a year ago by Mavis in Florida., when this checked out I was told that since I had purchased the warranties they would replace the strut and tire for free and they would have the tire delivered that day and that I should leave my car. 4 hours later I return to find that they had ordered the wrong tire size and I would have to come back tomorrow. where I was assured I would not have to wait, received many apologies for their screw up and was told things are a little crazy as its their opening week. The next day I received a call telling me that there was a screw up with the computer system and that my tire wouldnt be there until later on in the week and they would hold it for me and install it immediately when I came in. A few days later, I went in and lo and behold they had "lost" my tire, they surmised it had been sent back...I am then assured that my tire will be there the next day. I left the store and 15 minutes later they miraculously had the tire "delivered" from the Florida location, which seems impossible as after leaving the store I had just made it to the other side of Monroe, they couldnt have just said they found it? I bring the car back, they put on the new tire and the gentleman behind the counter, "Joe" who was very nice and apologetic throughout this entire process, all up until the end when he gave me my keys and gave me a very curt goodbye. When replacing a strut it is recommended that you get an alignment, which they never offered or suggested. They took 3 tries to get a tire which they thought was in stock. They left my leather seats with dirt and grime on them, dont most places use gloves? In short, my experience with Mavis at their new location was entirely lacking compared to my previous experience with the company which was actually quite good.

Out of town mechanic needing an alignment since my new front seemed to be eating on the outside and i didnt want to drive all the way back to NC like this. Came in, and stayed outside at the bay watching the entire process since i know A-Z about vehicles. They checked the alignment and said it was all good and nothing needed to be done, even though that wasnt the case. sent me on my way saying they couldnt do anything. figured they wouldnt charge me the full price but they were still going to because now the guy working on it says he made adjustments. Total baloney since i watched his every move. i didnt mind paying the price even if i had to. i hated being lied to my face that something was done when clearly there wasnt. this so called mechanic should be fired. end of story

First the 1 free fro 3 sale was for 1 Cooper tire model for 112.99+ and another similar Cooper tire was $84.99/tire a difference of $3 for the 4 tires. Next, they told my about the $59.96 to balance the tires. Then they told me it would take about 2.5 hours to complete. When I returned later, I was called into the garage to see a problem. It was the old bad breaks and shocks upsale scam. I told them to put my brakes back together and put on the tires. About 45 minutes later, I see them move my car to the last, farthest bay. When asked, they said wheel alignment was needed. When asked who authorized it, the clerk indicated it was automatically filled in by the online system. In Monroe NY businesses like this will not last long.

Imbeciles...That is the only word to describe them. I scheduled my car for an inspection. I called to confirm as it required a lot of schedule juggling. I show up and they say they dont do inspections. Offered no reason why someone would say that over the phone nor did they offer an apology. First and last time I will ever go there for anything. I quickly went to Valvoline in Vails Gate. Not only did they take me right away, they were friendly and courteous. Mavis should learn from those guys how you treat someone.

We have all heard the advertisements - buy 3 tires get one free. Well..... not exactly. Listen carefully, read the fine print. This is just another little bit of distasteful corporate propaganda. The "special" pricing only applies to certain tires and in all likelihood it does not apply to the tire that you want or need to buy. Someone at Mavis should be ashamed of themselves for foisting this sort of thing on the public, but I doubt it. After that experience, they wont see another dime from me.

Terrible Service! We are travelling from Saratoga with our 2 year old and black lab today, on one of the hottest days in the summer to visit our in laws in Franklin Square when we got a flat tire. We were told they couldnt help us until Monday. It is so hard travelling with a baby and a dog in the first place let alone with a flat. The gentleman at the counter said "why should we delay everyone elses service to help you?" Maybe because we are stranded and its what kind people do????

Had 4 rear tires installed on a F 350 dump truck, a little hesitant at first. The gentlemen Kareem that took care of me start to finish was a stand up guy. Knew that getting the tires off the rear wheels was going to be difficult project. Got to say, and give credit where credit is due, they did a great job. Price was good, service was great from the gentlemen that spent a good deal of time on the project. Tom

The people there were great. The guys in the shop worked hard and got my car done in a timely mater. The manager Bryan was every helpful and polite.I was happy with my experience at mavis, I will definitely take my car back to the Monroe location and mention my experience with my friends and fimaly. Thanks for a job well done.

Service writers were really helpful. I needed two new tires and I got a great deal on both of them . Lifetime warranty for an extra $16. I was afraid they were not able to get me in because they were very busy but they managed to squeeze me in . Both men at the desk happen to work great together , team work

I am a drilling reservist on my way up to battle assembly when I got a flat on the thruway. Steve and Mike were able to get me in and on my way quickly to continue my drive. They were very professional,nice and understanding of my predicament.

Service was friendly and efficient. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and they plugged it for a reasonable price. Service clerk was friendly and didnt try to sell me anything I dont need. No complaints.

Called ahead to make sure the place will take my own oil and filter. When I showed up in the place, they wont allow my own oil. I wasted 20+ mins driving back and forth. Very bad customer service.
