Im very disappointed with the customer service I received (or didnt receive?) at the Merrick Home Goods store. Along with other items, I purchased two boxes of dishes for $12.99 and was charged for three boxes. I didnt realize this until late that night, and contacted the manager (whom I wont name) the next day to let him know. He was very nice and assured me hed look into it and get back to me shortly, but I had to call again a few days later. All in all, I called a few more times and each time, he gave me a runaround and assured me hed be in touch...to be honest, I felt that he was just blowing me off and really couldnt care less. Well, it has now been two months and I have heard nothing (except maybe crickets chirping). If the charge for the item I didnt purchase was under $5, I wouldnt have called and would have chalked it up to a new learning experience of checking the receipt thoroughly before I leave the store (which Ive learned anyway). But to be charged for $13 worth of merchandise I didnt purchase is just wrong. And to be given the runaround for two months is unprofessional.
