I agree the receptionist or the lady who sets you up before the doctor comes in was one of the nastiest ladies I ever met. Very rude and NO PERSONALITY at all. Then when I picked up my glasses I asked for a copy of my prescription because I found a website where you get 1 free pair of glasses (only pay for shipping). The doctor was reluctant to give me my prescription and gave me a whole speach (in front of the entire office) on why I shouldnt get glasses from anyone but them. He even went as far as announcing how much my insurance company paid him for the glasses I got. Later on once I got home I realized the website needed my PD (pupilary distance). I called up the eye doctor and the nasty receptionist said "the PD is not included in my prescription and they are not obligated to tell me what my PD is". At this point I flipped out and told them I was planning on having my girlfriend come into their office but if they dont want to give me my PD I will be sure to bring the business elsewhere. She sighed and said hold on Ill go ask the doctor. After holding for a few minutes she came back and told me he said whoever Im getting my pair of glasses from can fit me for my PD and they arent giving it to me. All around it was horrible experience except for the female doctor. She was the only pleasant and personable person I encountered there. Me presonally I will never return to these money hungry people again. I will find a doctor who actually cares for his patients.

I like to say i have been going to family eye care for 15 year. And myself and family love the way we have been greeted and service. The staff and Doctors have always been a help in letting us know when our check up is needed. And the best part is picking out the frames. I drive Bella crazy picking them out and yes I have always picked the frames. That cost a little more then the plan allows. But they hold out the best when use every day. So to let every one know you get what you pay for when you go there the staff and Doctors. To me and my family are the best. I have told follows coworkers to go and they are also happy with the service.

That makes it three out of four that do not like this place. Not only is the receptionist rude, she doesnt care about the customers at all, but they overcharge you every time you walk into the place. I told them I didnt have vision insurance, they wanted my medical insurance card anyway. Come to find out they were billing me AND my medical insurance so i was getting double charged!!! I told them multiple times to not use my insurance and every time I walked in there it was $130 affair, at minimum. While Dr. Goodman may be very nice his staff is is incompetent and Ill never go back there again!

I have been getting my eyes examined at Family Eye care for years. They are attentive, and give excellent service. In addition they have a wide range of frames from budget priced to Designers at reasonable prices. I purchased my Gucci frames and lenses from them and never been happier. My daughter has been happy and comfortable in her contact lenses too. All in all, a friendly family oriented place with alot of selection in eye wear. Anyone looking for excellent eye care should go here.

Ive been going to Family Eye Care for over 10 years. My most recent visit was early March 2015. Ive been very happy with the service. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Goodman is very detailed and takes the time to explain the exam. In the past year or so, the time wait to be seen is less than 10 minutes. I would recommend this practice to a friend.
