The personnel may be friendly and helpful but the experience I had speaking to the doctor was HORRIBLE!! The office staff confirmed my appointment for the wrong time. When I showed up at the time I was told the doctor refused to see me, refused to acknowledge that there was any chance the staff could have made a mistake. When I suggested this was inconvenient and not a good way to do business the doctor seemed to justify his position by stating that I had been unfair by canceling a previous appointment for my children!!! SERIOUSLY!! Wheres the wonderful customer service everyone raves about! Remember - the customer is always right? And even if there had been a mistake - acknowledge it, try to be helpful and move on! Why start the "blaming" behavior like a child? Im glad I had to cancel the previous appointments for my children! I wouldnt want them to be seen by this man!!

Thumbs up to the staff and especially Dr. Kevin OConnor for providing me the best service for my needs. I am overjoyed that Dr. OConnor was able to find the best solution for my vision problem. I have had Lasik surgery years ago, after a decade of good vision unfortunately my vision started to deteriorate gradually. I called the folks at Lasik Plus hoping for a tweak or adjustment, but they simply said that in my case there was nothing else that could be done. I made an appointment at Kennedy & Perkins for a second opinion. Dr. OConnor provided me the right solution and my vision is back to perfect. Thank you very much for your professional care.

Kennedy and Perkins has the latest styles and knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you select the best frames for your taste, face shape, and prescription. If you are used to shopping online you will find the prices on the high side, but if you buy your glasses at Kennedy and Perkins you can walk on in and get them adjusted at no cost whenever needed. This is a family-owned small chain in CT. Prescriptions are filled in their own lab. There are occasional sales and they will work with you to find any applicable discounts through insurance or associations.

Walked in to have my sunglasses repaired after "someone" sat on them. The kind gentleman behind the desk politely took them from me and spent the next twenty minutes repairing them. He then presented them to me, in completely restored condition, with a smile and said "youre all set." He wouldnt even charge me for the work. This is a fantastic establishment run by equally wonderful people, I highly recommend!

I wouldnt know about their service, or the quality of their work, since I have yet to be able to purchase glasses. I have stopped by the store to purchase new eyeglasses several times and have left after approx. 30 minutes of waiting without even being acknowledged. I have tried various times of day, various days. I wont try again and will take my business elsewhere.

I have had YEARS (15) of positive experience with the Hamden location. They are VERY responsive , quick to fix any problems with my glasses for years after the purchase, and very helpful when I am picking new frames. I would never go anywhere else for new glasses! The up front cost might be higher but in the long run it is well worth it!

I had a really good experience. The doctor was very sharp and caught some stuff that my last eye exam at Lens Crafters missed. The person who helped me with my lenses could not have been more helpful and professional. Its a little pricey, but not remarkably more than other optical places.

Not sure why there are negative reviews of K&P. I actually use them a lot, have had several pairs of glasses made, and eye exams. and they made prescription lenses for my technical glacier glasses perfectly. So Ive had nothing but polite and very good service over the last 5 years.

Terrible. Spent $250 on lenses, and seemingly that was not enough to earn the personels respect. They were unwilling to fit my glasses because i had not bought the frames from them. Avoid this place; there are other opticians in New Haven.

Been to the New Haven location several times now. Every time I have been met with incredibly arrogant and condescending customer service. Not sure how they stay in business other than the lack of competition in downtown New Haven.

The reviews below must be about one of the other branches. The doctor and staff at the Branford branch are excellent and always have been.

The doctor was very rude. Considering how much I paid, the service I received was very bad. I will not come to their store again.
