I went in today with my family to get glasses for two of my children. We were told over the phone that they were having a sale buy one get one free. When we got there we were not welcomed and we had to go out of our way to to fined someone to help us. First a woman approached us,we ask her a few questions and all the sudden she disappears, and started helping someone else, I had to keep going over to her ask her questions. As myself and my husband were talking amongst each other,on which glasses to choose for our children, and if we should pay these prices which were ridiculously overpriced as we figure it out after we left the store. While we were talking a man approached us and asked if we needed help and I politely told him no were just looking for right now. As I was only calculating what the total price would be for the two pairs, he accused me of writing numbers down of the glasses so I can find them online... And he said it wasnt fair for them, that people write the numbers down and go buy glasses online, I didnt say anything to him all, Other then I was just calculating the prices. And then I asked him so any of the glasses are buy one get one free and he said yes... As I asked him about two pairs which were both over $200... He said the free pair can only be up to 150... And that it wouldnt be fair to him to sell me $500 glasses and I wanted to buy the $300 ones for free... Just because I have my children with me I walked out of the store. I was very disappointed in the service, very disappointed that I was accused of doing something I wasnt, and very disappointed of the behavior and I believe was the manager of the store. FYI I was looking at Nike glasses for my son, which were $268. In the store, and just because a gentleman accused me of writing the numbers, I memorize the numbers and when I went out to the car on Amazon they were only $70 the same exact pair the same exact number.. The store is a rip off and the people are absolutely ridiculously rude.

Im not happy with my experience at this Pearle Vision. I wish I had just bought my glasses online. I stupidly used the buy one pair of regular frames and get prescription sunglasses for free coupon. I ended up paying $550 anyway (for one pair of glasses, supposedly!), twice what Ive paid for glasses in the past. Not only did they not let me review the cost of the glasses or provide prices on any of the frames, but they also recommended I buy frames that were too big for me. I had to exchange both pairs of glasses because, although they said they would adjust them to fit, they would not stay up on my nose, even after adjustment. The frames I finally ended up with were not worth more than $120 (last years season, they charged me $180 anyway), so the lenses were extortionate at $370. It also took three weeks of phone calls, and a final call to the head office, before they were able to provide me with an itemized receipt "proving" the cost of the glasses did amount to $550. I will never buy glasses from these people again, although they were always friendly, I felt I was taken advantage of from the beginning- used car salesmen in the glasses business.

First of all, the salespeople are rude. I visited the store with a prescription from another doctor & purchased glasses. Took forever to get assistance although nobody was in the store...the salespeople were clearly too busy gossiping at the back table. They only helped me when I asked. They did have the frames I wanted and gave me some discount for having AAA, which was nice. Second of all, when I came to pick up my glasses, they werent ready. I was promised them in an hour but came back the next day anyway after work. The woman I dealt with (I think a manager) talked to me like I was a small child, degrading me in front of my wife saying they claimed theyd "call when they were done." Why call when the glasses are done if you tell me they are going to be done in an HOUR? I came back 36 hours later and they werent done... This manager refused to help me, and I had to come back a third time to pick up my glasses. Waste of time & gasoline...I wont be back. I paid the same price I would have elsewhere even with the AAA discount WONDERFUL (ha) management.

Very Disappointing! Dr. Nemser has terrible bedside manor, other than introducing himself he did not talk to me at all(other than commands during the exam). I felt as though he was in a rush, perhaps because my appointment was just before lunch? My visit was made for the sole purpose of getting a new Contact Lens Rx, he did not even look at my eyes with the contacts in. Gave me samples and said I have to book another visit(clearly a billing scheme to charge me for 2 visits instead of 1) before he would give me an Rx. Keep in mind I have been wearing the same brand contacts for close to 20 years with no problems, I have to get a contact exam every year, and have never been asked to make 2 appointments to get an Rx for contacts. Of course they billed my insurance for a contact lens exam, that I didnt have....sounds a bit like insurance fraud to me. Please do yourself a favor and stay away!

The service here is not that great. No smiling faces or happy greeting. They make you feel like you have to get their attention to come and assist you in purchasing glasses. I also went to Lens Crafters at Milford Mall before coming here, and although they are higher, their customer service is way better and more pofessional. But one tip I can give, if you are purchasing glasses at the end of the year with a benefits card, DO NOT tell them, let them assume you are just looking for a good deal on glasses, especially on the BOGO offer. Youll get a better discount!

I bought a pair of micheal kors eye glasses that had a price of $289. My insurance paid for the lenses. They gave me an allowance so I paid $199. Which I was fine with until I went to lenscraters the same frame was $120. I called to ask can I return the glasses because of the price being $170 more than lenscrafters. Eddie the manager said their were no returns because they were made for me and corporate makes the prices give him a couple of days to get back to me. Its been over a week still no call back. They lost a customer.

After a recent visit, I asked to have my prescription glasses adjusted. The lady who helped me left the glasses in the heater to long and warped my lenses. After I pointed out the problem she denied the issue. Everyone can make a mistake, but this is undeniably the worst customer service I have ever had. Now the lenses are destroyed and Im left with paying for them out of my pocket. Thanks for nothing!

Go some place else! They are fine, but will screw you over when it comes to insurance. My eye insurance company takes claims back-dated up to a year. Pearle Vision, however, would not do this for me. I never got an answer. I left my number so that the manager could call me back with an answer, but no one ever called me. They are a national chain...seriously, go some place else.
