I am deeply discouraged and disgusted with my experience at this boutique. I spent a great deal of money at this store when buying christmas presents for my mother and mother in law. My mothers bracelet broke within one time of her wearing it and my mother in laws earring broke when she was putting it in her ear for the first time. Both my mothers did not tell me of their broken jewelry because they did not want to hurt my feelings. It was only recently I found out their stories when I asked them if they had worn their jewelry yet. Upon hearing this, I told them to give me the jewelry so I could bring it back to the store in order to see what could be done. The woman I spoke to at the front desk was extremely rude to me. She offered me no apology as I showed her the jewelry and explained the story. When I asked her to reimburse me for the broken merchandise, she criticized me for not coming in sooner. She acted appalled that I would even request such a thing. She was immediately defensive and combative. Her response was "you want me to reimburse you for something you bought three months ago? I cant do that Im not a big manufacturer." (I actually only bought the items about one month ago...not sure how she came up with three). Anyhow, I am not a confrontational person and did not want to argue with her. I was also there with a group of people and I did not want to spoil our fun with a scene. However, the people I was with took note of how she spoke to me and put down the items they were going to buy. Shortly before leaving, she did approach me and asked to look at the jewelry again to see if she could fix it. She did end up fixing the pieces, however I am not so sure her work will hold up. The jewelry was clearly of poor quality to begin with. I will absolutely never shop here again because of the way this woman treated me. This was not the typical Newton Plaza experience I am accustomed to. I will be sure to share my experience here with my friends, especially the ones who are other business owners in the plaza. In response to "owners response": Your account of our interaction is simply untrue. Any repuable business owners answer should be: "Im sorry about the broken jewelry and your experience with us. What can I do to make it right." FYI the birthday party you were so busy with was because of my recommendation. I will never make the mistake of speaking highly of your business again.

Im hoping that Ill have better luck with reviews here than elsewhere that are filtered. Ive walked in here twice. The first time, they were about to close and it was a weekend and so I understand that the staff basically ignored me. Maybe they didnt want to prolong the opening hours by helping me (even though it wasnt like they were busy or anything), but sometimes working can get people cranky or maybe it was just a bad day. I went back on a week day in the afternoon and I was ignored again. Not only that, when I tried to ask the sales associate for help, she was very rude and acted like I was bothering her. I did see some decent beads, but you can buy cheaper ones online and at beading expos and from other stores around the area. All in all, both times I was treated poorly and found the staff there so rude I vowed never to go back there again. Mediocre selection, prices are fair but bad customer service.

I had purchased two "Groupons" to be used at the fragrance bar for myself and a friend. The associate, Karen was extremely helpful and patient - we were both very pleased with our selections and the service. The store has beautiful, unique items very reasonably priced and the presentation of items is wonderful. Plan on spreading the word and going back soon!
