Worse store I have ever been in. The owner Kwon is rude and low standard. He does not know the law, his wine and he was unacceptable. I was browsing for a good French wine (grand cru or premier cru, and bottled in the castle since I know good wines) and I was reading the labels for about 5 minutes. The owner came to me to say that I stay too long in the store, so I let him know what I was looking for. He told me to read the internet and leave the store. I was very polite, but this owner did not seem to understand what I was saying. Worst experience ever in my life. I dont know what was wrong with the owner. He was probably afraid that I find out that he mixes wines himself or does something illegal.

I do not understand some comments people post. I have shopped at Countryside for the last 10 years. When the ownership was taken over by the Kwon family I became quick friends of the new owners. I say this because my family owned Liquor stores & I congrat The Kwon Family.

I visit countryside wine and liquors frequently, they have the greatest selection of wines. they always greet you by name and make your experience the best. I shop exclusively here. the prices and stock can not be beat. the best on long island.

Great service great prices. The Kwons are wonderful people. I cant imagine them being rude to anyone. Unless youre a sloppy drunk falling all over there store.
