Buyer Beware! If you ever decide to finance a car from Nissan of Huntington, PLEASE stay away from Wahid Amani. What you usually fear about the dealers, he is all of the above. He tried to bury me twice in a bad loan. My Nissan that I previously purchased from them was totaled in an accident. After my insurance paid the amount for totaled vehicle, there was still a balance left on the car. Ok so that’s where gap insurance would have kicked in, but low and behold I was never offered gap insurance by Mr. Wahid, which I never would have refused, since it was only an extra 136.00. The car that was totaled was also sold to me overpriced, so there really should not have been a balance left on a 2008 vehicle. So because of the balance he informed me that he could not finance the loan without adding the balance on to the new loan, which would have made my car note close to 600.00!!!!!! For a 2011 Nissan Rogue!! Really!! No Not a Mercedes, not a Bmw but a Nissan, and No I don’t have bad credit my score is in the upper 600’s. So basically he told me that I wouldn’t be able to finance at lower rate with anyone because of this situation. He basically said taking his option was my only way! It really made me angry when I realized that he was trying to take advantage of a bad situation over on me, so I told him I would sleep on it, and make the decision the next day. Long story short I ended up going to Huntington Honda, that same day, and found out everything he said was LIE!!!!!! I purchased a BRAND NEW 8 mile 2014 Honda CRV, for a lower price, and less monthly payments. It was really disheartening to see that because I was car less he would try to take advantage of an already bad situation. There is more!!! to add insult to injury, I went back to speak to the Sales Manager to put a complaint in with the dealer, and this guy Wahid comes out of his office, and proceeds to start arguing with me, and basically telling me to leave. He was Super arrogant and Super rude and I would never never recommend anyone or use them again!!!

So heres my experience. I brought my 350z in for servicing due to a clicking noise in the rear axle which for whatever reason is a very common problem amongst 350 zs. Got the car back fairly quickly and was told by Brian they dropped the rear axles out, regreased them, and reinstalled them to proper torque specs. A month later the ticking noise returned so i dropped the car off and a few days later got the car back and Brian explained that they just performed the same procedure again. Another month later the clicking noise returns. I go back to Nissan and they ask me to drive one of their techs around the block to point out the problem. Upon returning to the dealership the tech states he noticed the clicking noise and asked me if i knew where the locking lug nut remover was for my wheels since i have locking lug nuts. I explained where in the trunk they were and ask the tech how theyve been removing the wheel to drop out the axles if they couldnt remove the locking nut and he simply states they havent been able to take the wheels off. To simplify this for those of you who may not know, you need to remove the wheel in order to remove the axle there is no way around it. So a few days later Brian from Nissan states they are unable to perform any work due to an after market wheel spacer on the car. At this point i know theyre just making excuses because Brian had told me they dropped the wheel and axle twice which wouldve required them to remove the wheel spacer as well and now on the third time theyre saying they cant perform the work due to the wheel spacer. So now after Im left with a ticking rear axle and a nonrefundable bill (so they claim) for $230, i am currently disputing the charge with my credit card and will no longer bring my cars there for servicing or recommend that anyone else does also.

Spoke to a salesman about purchasing a new Nissan Murano. I knew availability was an issue from speaking to other dealerships. The salesman said he had the car I wanted in stock and ready to go. When I got there, we negotiated a price, which was a long drawn out experience itself. After negotiating, he tells me the car he said was in stock "just sold 5 minutes before you got here". Told him I was upset but if he could locate me a vehicle, I would buy it from him at the negotiated price. He said that availability "would not be a problem" asked for two color choices and told me I would "definitely get either one". I explained again that I knew availability would be an issue, and to just run a locate while I was there so that our time wouldnt be wasted. He refused. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave a deposit on a credit card and he said he would contact me in 2 days to let me know when I would have the vehicle. All without running a locate. 3 Days later he calls and tells me he cant get one and to give him another 3 days.....I do. 3 days later, no car.....asks me to wait another month. I tell him I want my deposit back, he says I need to come down to do it. I come down and go directly to the finance manager.....explain the situation and he says he will refund it but I must wait a week because "the accounting dept. only does refunds once a week". Sure they do. They have no problem TAKING your money any day of the week, but refunds are only once a week. This dealer is a sham. Do NOT give them the business....there are PLENTY of other dealerships around that actually want to sell a vehicle and not waste their customers time.

I bought my car here after having good experiences when the dealership was still Habberstad Nissan. The dealership was taken over by Nissan of Huntington where disgraceful customer service from their service department is the norm. I picked up my brand new vehicle only to discover scratches on it. They agreed to fix scratches to the best of their ability during my first oil change, but they were deep enough that they most likely will have to repaint the panels where the scratches are. Even worse, the car broke down smoking and leaking antifreeze within 2 weeks of owning it, stranding my children and myself in a parking lot for an hour and a half until a tow truck arrived. Their customer service manager offered no loaner car offered despite the hardship this caused on my family (i.e., unable to drive myself to work or drive my children to day care the next day) until significant complaints were made. Customer service manager employed snarky and unhelpful comments about how "things happen" and how the customer service manager was a single mom herself who made other arrangements when things happened to her and I should do the same. I understand that there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances with vehicles that arise, but their "its your problem" attitude was truly disgusting. Just hope you have no problems with your vehicles if you buy them here, because apparently, once you sign on the dotted line, you are on your own as they appear not to care about customer satisfaction once they receive their money. I shouldve bought elsewhere. Avoid this place!
