Its actually a beautiful supermarket. Parking is tight but available. Everything inside is clean and neatly organized. The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. However, I was a bit disgusted to see a package of Hillshire Farms Oven Roasted Chicken deli meat with a sell-by date of February 2, 2016. Today is February 6, 2016. I even called my husband over to confirm the date because i couldnt believe what i was seeing. The craziest thing is that they had maybe 5 or 6 containers of meat on display ..... ALL EXPIRED! Each and every container. Although the deli meat LOOKED fresh and probably would have taste fine, I wasnt interested in buying expired perishables. Seeing that made me further question how many other expired items was lurking in the supermarket. Honestly, when Im in a rush, I might not remember to check the date of an item. (Im glad today wasnt one of those days). I guess Im a bit naive to trust that an establishment discards expired food when necessary. Unfortunately, theres a few people that will unknowingly purchase that expired deli meat. I just hope they dont have any adverse reactions. I cant readily say that Ill NEVER make another purchase from this Foodtown. If I do, it will be a paper paper product or some other item thats not intended for consumption.

Number 1 I never take time out my day to write a review about anyone or anything but upon the service I received at this supermarket I felt I would be a fool to not write a review. On March 25, 2016 I pucrchased a pack of Jennie O turkey bacon from this supermarket. As I prepared to cook the bacon I noticed a funny smell and the bacon felt as if it was submerged in a jelly substance. I went back to this supermarket to return this bacon and spoke to a manager named Matt who wasnt friendly or helpful in anyway. I shop at this supermarket because its close and convenient to where I live but NEVER AGAIN will I shop at this supermarket and I will advise any and everyone I know to never ever shop here. The most horrible customer service I have ever received and a bunch of expired items on shelves. Once again this supermarket is full of overpriced expired items waiting to be sold and get many ppl sick!

A bit over priced plus there bottle machine is always full the guy never wants to change the bag because he feels like he wants to get his money worth on a box of plastic bags go figure??? So he will come and shake the basket and say call me again when the machine says full again and again shake again until the basement and machine say enough. He says the bags are costly shoot I say the groceries in your store are costly as well. Lets get this going people have jobs I cant wait there all day for u to shake the damn machine basket just change the damn bag when the Machine says full. This place is just nice looking thats alll dont go here.

This is a new Foodtown location which opened in fall 2015 in a new shopping plaza off the Conduit & Linden Blvd near 79th St. It is conveniently located and it is very well kept. The store is clean and stock is well kept. The only issue that I have with this location is that the employees are younger and they seem to "not want to be there" and will take very long processing customers at checkout which causes lines.

helpful staff and great customer service, the store is always clean and their produce is always fresh. their organic products are cheaper than anywhere else. After I went to this store deff. I wont shop anywhere, they are cleaner than stop and shop, I used to shop at shoprite now I shop at food town.

the people that work there are absolutely wonderful, however the store is one hot stanky mess, you could never ever find anything, they are always out of this or out of that, like come on , its a super market you have to restock your items on a daily basis. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!

Was great when it opened. Now they never restock anything andtwice this month I got bad cold cuts. The prices went up and thats to be expected but not this much.
