Con artist!!! Disgusted with this florist and his employees. Let me begin by saying I wouldnt use this florist again if his services were free! My wife and I were getting married at Brotherhood Winery and this was the recommended florist for the venue. We went to multiple vendors as a couple usually does to seek out the perfect florist for our vision. We felt comfortable with David and felt he understood completely what we wanted and had everything organized and under control. After our meeting we consulted and decided we would hire him for our big day. A CASH deposit was given and we were told once the wedding got closer we would have a sample of the centerpiece which we had multiple references to go off of, ready for us to view and make any changes to if we were not satisfied. I assume the $1,700.00 deposit wasnt enough for David to produce a mock centerpiece because we were told we wouldnt be seeing one if we didnt paying the remaining $3,300.00 for our wedding that was in a week which was never the agreement. The story continues... my wife told him exactly everything she wanted for her bouquet....still wasnt sufficient because it was completely different than she asked for. Wrong color scheme and wrong arrangement even though he had very clear references to go off of. Then to the supposed "galvanized pails" with babys breath. We were charged $350.00 for 10 pails that were plain aluminum, which still had the plastic wrapping around them and the made in China sticker stuck on the sides and bottoms. If I had to guess, the half empty pails had about 3 dollars worth of babys breath arranged in them. Mind you these were $35.00 each for something completely different than we asked for. $350.00 for cheap tacky pails that looked like they were picked up at a dollar store. Now on to the centerpieces and boutonnieers. I wish it didnt have to continue, but it does. We physically picked out the exact Mercury Glass vase we had wanted for our centerpieces in his storefront, with him writing down the item number and telling us what a great choice we had made and that he will get us the same vase for each table. We ended up getting a vase that was silver and spray painted gold which didnt even resemble mercury glass or anything that we held and looked at with David in his shop. The way we found out it was of cheap quality and spray painted is when multiple guests at our party touched or picked them up the gold ran all over their dresses and suits and stained them. Now on to the flowers, my wife specifically stated multiple times "I do not want any pink in the centerpieces". She doesnt care for pink nor did she think it was appropriate for a fall weddings color scheme. Well take a wild guess what was in each centerpiece......pink! The boutonnieres literally were falling apart throughout the night. My both grandfathers, fathers and father in laws had green leaves and petals wilting off a few hours into the wedding. This man David Anthony and Lena his main assistant need to find a different profession because their personalities, customer service, quality and professionalism are lacking in every area of this business and within these individuals. NEVER CONSIDER OR USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY EVENT..IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Fortunately enough, every single other vendor we hired followed through with amazing work and service except for you David Anthony the one vendor my wife cared the most about.

We used Flowers by David Anthony for our July 8, 2016 wedding in Mahopac, NY. My sister used Flowers by David Anthony in October 2015 for her Bear Mountain wedding and the bouquets were beautiful so it was a no-brainer! Speaking with David on the phone, we were able to get ideas together for what our needs were for the wedding. He was so nice and creative. We needed bouquets, centerpieces & boutonnieres. The bridal party was wearing all black so we were doing a rainbow of colors for the bouquets and hot pink roses for the boutonnieres. The centerpieces were rainbow with glass square vases. My bouquet was cream colored roses, hydrangea with hot pink spray roses. We also had a black runner (ours) and Flowers by David Anthony provided us with hot pink petals to line the runner. It looked amazing! I met with David, in person, a few months before the wedding. As soon as you enter his shop, you know that you are getting something spectacular. We looked at pictures together and he even pulled out flowers from the shop fridge to show me what they looked like. He understood the flowers that I liked and the flowers that I wasn’t too keen on. Lena, his assistant, is a doll and she wrote up the contracts to perfection! Every detail accounted for from our meeting, which was very reassuring. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with David again and he made up a centerpiece for us to review. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We even brought in little Star Wars Lego people to add to the boutonnieres, which looked awesome on the wedding day. The day of the wedding, the flowers arrived perfectly and on time. They were absolutely gorgeous! The colors truly popped with the black dresses. I cannot thank David enough for being part of what made our day beautiful. He is truly an artist!

I am so happy we ended up going with Flowers By David Anthony for our wedding. I was about to give up in my search for the perfect florist to bring my vision to life and just settle with a huge company that was going to do some mundane arrangements for us. I cant express how happy I am that we decided to meet with David. He is a true artist. He took the time to talk with me and get to know me a little bit and he could see what I truly wanted. All of our flowers from the church, to the bouquets, and reception were perfect. The centerpieces were out of this world. I was a little nervous not seeing a sample of the bouquet ahead of time but I brought in a bunch of photos and he exceeded my expectations. All of our guests told me how beautiful the flowers were. I highly recommend David!

Phenomenal wedding flowers! David Anthony was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He had great ideas and listened to mine as well. I ordered a ton of flowers last minute for my cake without issue and they did a great job with those as well. All the flowers were gorgeous, I highly recommend them!
