Absolutely the worst shopping experience ever.....as a lifelong shopper.....I have shopped on numerous black Fridays in many stores and today was inexcusable because of the """ managing """"...... 8 check out registers I get on line and there are 4 open.....and its a long long line....5pm....... so more and more people starting to line up to check out ....so what happens next???? Instead of adding more people to handle to volume of people. ..some brilliant manager closes one register to send her on the floor to clean up.....the employee tries to point out the ever increasing line .....manager shuts her down and tells her just ""Clean """ as more and more line up ,young, elderly....still no relief ....I look over at the layaway counter 2 employees playing on their phones just waiting.....,,,,doing nothing.....so I pull out my phone and call the store number...hoping to be a lil discreet and tell the manager that things were going wrong.....after 15 rings there is an answer and I explain....the line is growing longer and longer and we are down a register instead of sending help and layaway is still idle.......I get "crickets" no clue of what is going on no solution .....manager walks off to collect carts ??????....reallyyyyyyy!!!!!????.....so either She has no clue what she is doing Doesnt care about customer service Selfish and just thinking about starting clean up at 5pm Or trying to create overtime for the employees With absolutely no respect for the shoppers For the people that pay the salaries of every Burlington employee nationwide I wish I could GIVE a MINUS 5 STARS FINALLY at the register 5:57pm One hour online and by now people are dropping items on the floor and walking out I was tempted to just walk out myself.....but my son needed a winter jacket and was leaving to go back to college in the morning.....No excuse for this disrespectful service....... ANYONE WITH EYES.... knew that clearly it was a problem..... And this is the shortened version...I could bring up at least another 1/2 dozen complaints. ......#unbelievably #disrespectful

Some of the employees in this facility are very impatient and kind of slow. I wanted to view some watches so I can purchase to my liking. The young Indian looking lady I requested to view a certain watch which I purchased was very impatient and kind of rushed me into purchasing the watch. When I actually decided to purchase the watch, I had an emergency which I stated to her that I was in a hurry. There were 2 registers available one with a lot of people and one with hardly any people. I asked the lady if I can move to the less crowded register to pay for my watch and told her I had an emergency and she said "no that register is for employees only" so I decided to wait for an half an hour on the crowded line while the other register was with less people. A woman approached her while I was waiting on the line and asked the employee that I was dealing with if she can go to that register to pay for her coat and allowed her to go to the free register that was for "employees only". While I had to wait for a half on hour on the crowded line when I clearly told her I had an emergency. The woman who simply asked her to go to the less crowded line allowed her to go by she just saying please. And while me who had a real emergency was not authorized to go to the less crowded line. I believe that the management in this facility should re-evaluate their employees and let them pick who should go to a less crowded line more carefully. Especially if they have an emergency! When I confronted her about this she didnt even apologise and acted like she was right about doing this injustice.

WHAT a mess !!!!!!!!NO customer service at all from management i waited on line Close to 90 minutes to pay for my items ..... i felt bad for the employees behind the counter because they looked stressed and challenged because customers were so frustrated and upset and many dropped the items on the floor and walked out and i was thinking the same but needed the winter coat for my daughter that left to go back to school today BUT I was very very uncomfortable listening to the frustration and the other people on line that at one point i felt would just walk out with the items in hand ..... and from the past reviews i am reading ...it seems that this is a chronic problem ...NOT sure why there are 8 registers but only 3 were in operation i will THINK twice about shopping there i the future ....if i walk in and see a line i will just leave ....i can think of a better way to spend 2 hours

Worst store on the planet!! The management have no care in the world. I saw one of the supervisor curse out their workers for no damn reason in front of everyone. Plus the employees there are rude on their phones, cheats you out of your money and much more. I shopped here like a couple times and saw how messed up they treat people there. Its very messy and you cant get help. IF ANY ONE IS THINKING OF WORKING HERE PLEASE DO NOT SELL YOUR SOUL!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT WORK AT THIS STORE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! !!!!!!!!!!!

The worst store with worst employees specialy the manager Sam k aka Gaby. who hired her as a manager? can someone from(burlington) tell me how can someone become a manger who doesnt know the store policy, she had to look behind the receipt to answer my question. The so called manager clearly does not know how to talk to a costumer. she is very rude and unprofessional. i wouldnt go back to this store after this very bad experience i had. I wouldnt give no star if could.

My wife wanted to check the fitting one item real quick at 9:00pm even she said that she will not left any item in the fitting room, that was a humble request, She was not allowed to even was not told there is another fitting room upstair, And the attitude was not pleasant at all, I shop this store quite often, Now I dont feel that attraction to this store any more.

Slowest CASHIERS ever! Nearly 30 mins on line and watched two employees behind registers doing nothing but conversing and checking their cell phones. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he wasnt there! Youre better off at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for discounted apparel and housewears.

Sometimes the store has a mildewy smell. Great prices but that smell makes me think everything is old. Reminds me of National Liquidator and has a lot of "imperfect" items. Thats why the prices are so low. Item could not be sold because of imperfections. But I still shop there.

Its basically like a thrift n store, even though its new clothes, every single piece of clothing is on these long racks that you have to sort through one by one and usually no two same pieces are together
