I have been coming to this store since I moved here 13 years ago. I come here because it is near my house AND ONLY when other small stores, which are in the same area, do not have the items I need. The reason I gave them zero star (if I can) is simple: unfriendly and nasty associates, especially those in the plumbing dept. One of them actually vented his anger (#@!$% language) about one customer (after that customer walked away, of course) while he was helping me. 2 weekends ago, I came because I need to cut some pipes which I cant get it from other stores. I gave him the specs but he said he only wanted me to tell him one # at a time. Fine. Then he proceeded to make the 2nd cut without asking me. He then turned around, with a loud and angry voice: why I did not tell him. I know they have changed a lot of employees over the yrs, but some of the employees attitudes are still the same: the feeling that you owe them something for making them work. One + thing: the cashiers, they are very nice (big improvement).

Listen to the other reviewers; this location hires hostile, unhelpful, condescending people that can barely be identified as employees. I simply wanted an estimated date for my special delivery and was given three different dates by three different staff members (first when I called in on Wednesday, second left via voice mail, and third calling in on Friday). When I called in the last time, the representative of the Flooring Department (October 2nd) was belligerent when I asked for her to be clear about the information she was giving me (because she sounded like she really had no idea what she was talking about). Overall, incredibly unprofessional and disorganized staff. Dont bother calling them. They wont help you and wont transfer you to a different representative when they become flustered. You will be left confused and irritated, trust me.

This for Flushing store. Horrible customers service ever! First I checked on line for the stock availability before went to college point store, but nothing was there! So Ive made the college point customer service to called to verify the flushing store have it on stock and Ive got confirmed for availability before I left there. However, when I asked the Flushing Home Depot helper, he said never saw such an item there when I checked and showed him 132 stocks still showing in their website store system from my app!!! Not only the system were all messed up but also their workers seemto be very rude and doesnt care about the customers at all!! Very unpleasant experience... Their management should give proper training to the workers on how they supposed to treat their customers before lose their business!

this is honestly the worse experience I ever had. was going in with my family to try to buy some bi fold doors. there was none to be found. so I go and ask for help to the first worker. asked for help but looked at me like I was stupid and annoyed to even try to help me, but said he would send someone. but after 15 mins of waiting, I wasnt gonna wait longer. so I ask another person. this person topped the first one had a rude response telling me well theres a desk at the back that people also work there too and just went about his business. finally the last worker helped us even tho it wasnt his department. the guy even stopped a manager to help us. if it werent for this guy I think I would of been stuck there the whole night.

Employees are not helpful at all. I asked the employee are you working here and can you help me find plastic storage box? She said No, I am not working here. She wear the orange Homedepot uniform! The customer service is also rude. I believe the customer service just feel too boring to work and doing nothing. 4 customer services are available and I literally ask for return. Nobody ask me what can I do for you. Finally I felt angry and just ask can you do return? They looked at each other and seems nobody want to do their work. My feel back may help other customers and not want you feel disappointed. Avoid go to flushing store at all cost.

This is the worse Home Depot I had ever been. Staff was not helpful at all. Saw them stood in a group chitchating. Items were not organized well and a lot of them were very dusty and dirty. I was looking for a horizontal storage shed. Found it and there were 3 available. All of them with the boxes we either was damaged or got water mark indicated there was water there before. I would not come back to this store and not recommend to anyone if they have a vehicle. I would drive to the College Point one which is more organized and the staff is nice and helpful.

I Wanted to order an Item at customer service and they had no idea how to locate the item in their computer I wasted over 30 minutes and even though a customer representative on the phone was trying to guide the manager over the phone he was upset and said it was not coming up in his computer so I left the store and went to another Home Depot that is located 10 minutes away and they were able to locate the items that I was looking for immediately and were very polite and gladly placed my order , I would avoid this store if I could

I went to Home Depot simply to exchange 2 propane tanks. What was supposed to be uncomplicated became a 20 minute ordeal. I had to wait 10 minutes to wait to pay for the new tanks. Then they had to find someone to get the tanks. A very helpful cashier called out to someone. That person referred me to someone else. I then had to walk to the other end of the parking lot to get the tanks. Now that summer is here, they should have an employee whose only task is to handle propane tank exchange.
