Always have had good experiences in the tool and hardware section. The clothing department Is absolutely AWFUL!!! I went to exchange some cloths I had gotten for Christmas and was told because it was past 30 days I was only able to exchange for the exact items I had. I asked if I could just exchange them for something else of equal or lesser value, I was flat out told NO, I asked if I could at the very least get store credit(which every other major retail store offers in situations like these) I was told NO again. The service is terrible(again just the clothing section) Ive always had to wait at least a half an hour on the checkout line(Ive spent less time on lines at the DMV then that) due to lazy cashiers or complete lack of cashiers. Been a Sears customer for many years, after this utter failure of an excuse of customer service. Never ever again.

Sears pretty much sucks, except for the Hicksville location, and the Commack store is right at the bottom with the rest of them. While looking for a pair of shoes I couldnt find anyone to help me so I went into the stock room myself and browsed around. I was in there for about 10 minutes. The next day when I went to return something, they had to scrounge out singles and fives to give me $100 back for my return. It pretty much says it all when you dont even have enough money in not one, but two and almost three registers to refund someone $100. How these types of stores afford to keep their lights on is beyond me.

The guys in the auto center work an effective and elaborate scheme to milk their longer jobs henceforth lacking to promptly handle what should be a quick service(oil change). not once but twice. the second time i dropped my car off for an oil change i was told and 1.5hr(ugh idk why that long but ok) so i went with my family to the chilis in the mall grounds.. HAD LUNCH AND STILL NOT EVEN TOOK MY CAR IN FOR SERVICE .. NEVER AGAIN

This please sucks the auto center section has a really bad management and really deleted service looks like they have one mechanic for all those cars. I usted come in and out on a couple hours. Now you have to drop off your car for a almost all day

The main number is outsourced to another country. You cannot hear the the individual answering the phone and they only repeat your question with pauses in between.. Complete waste of time. Never purchase another product from sears again!

Everytime i go to checkout ,theres an excruciating wait in line.3 cashiers 4 customers, Im still waiting while staff is chit-chatting and hawking sears credit card applications. I do like hardware,no b.s. no applications, have a nice day

Such a pleasant experience when I pulled in! I was fit it for my inspection same day with no issues. The gentleman responsible for checking everyone in was so nice and polite. It made my experience very nice!! :)

Im glad that Sears is closing. A anacronistic store from a bygone era. Poor service. Prices that arent competitive. No real reason to shop here.

Admittedly I go during off peak hours, but I have always had great service with them. Their equipment however, needs upgrading.
