What a disaster is grocery shopping here in Dobbs Ferry. This Stop & Shop does not carry anything. Their produce is old and they do not carry many common items... like Broccoli! Much of the produce is cut into small pieces then wrapped in a black Styrofoam case (hey Stop and Shop have you heard about environmental issues?) and usually the produce is super old. Then they have the nerve to overcharge for the stinky cut up vegetables. You can not buy a head of anything in that store. When you walk in the store really SMELLS bad- foul!!! Like they just cant get it clean. I dont trust the food there. It is a small store ... I get it but they never have anything I need. It is very sad that there are no supermarkets in this area at all. This store really needs to step up the quality and cleanliness. I now travel to the Shop Right on Central. It sure would be nice to be able to use my local grocer instead!

I always do my grocery here with my family. However, today I went with my brother because we have a bbq at my house. We took some meat, bbq sauce, and beer and they asked for an ID as usual, my brother showed it to them. But suddenly, this woman came and said that both of us need to show an ID. I said, Im not buying any alcohol he is. Then she left and look for another person with more authority, maybe the manager. And once again, asked both of us for ID. I was rushing, so I did not ask for any booklet or to show me any policy in writing that mention why everyone need to show Identification. Personally I think thats insane. Just because I was there I have to show an ID too. Lets said if my mom goes with my little sister whos 10. Does that means my sister needs to show an ID too?

A seemingly typical Stop & Shop, but when compared with stores in Ossining or Tarrytown, one realizes that the Dobb store has a smaller selection and a different layout. Its hard for us to shop there. When we finally find the category, we find the one thing we want isnt there.

This market is small by todays standards, even after a recent renovation. A fair selection of produce and staple goods but many items are left out. No housewares section. Moderate prices compared to other stores in the area. Adequate parking but a long traffic light to exit.

Prices are way too high HERE but selection of organic products is good ALTHOUGH I SAW THAT THE STOP & SHOP LOCATED IN DOBBS FERRY HAS THE BEST THE PRICES SO IF YOU HAVE A CAR THIS IS THE PREFERABLE LOCATION.ALSO THE CASHIERS WERE EXTRA NICE AT THE DOBBS FERRY.

They should start adding more hispanic products since there are lots of hispanic people leaving around there. At the Childrens Village we are lots of hispanic working there and we like to shop at this location but poor hispanic products to find.
