I used Ava Flora for my wedding in November of 2013 and then again just recently for my baby shower! I cant say enough great things about Lori. First of all, I know nothing about flowers and had no idea as to what they should look like for the wedding. In our first meeting, I told Lori as much, and basically asked her to do her thing. I gave her a color palette to work with and within a few days, she sent me some photos of arrangements she thought I might like and threw in a few other ideas. On the day of the wedding, more things could not have gone wrong, including gale force winds and rain when we were supposed to hold the ceremony outside and even worse, I forgot my bouquet at the first photo location where we had done our bride and groom portraits. Because Lori was there herself to deliver the flowers, she was able to improvise very quickly and put together a new bouquet for me, and change the flowers that we were originally supposed to use during the ceremony as well as shuffling some table centerpieces around. Everything went smoothly despite originally looking like it was going to be a disaster! I was so glad she had been there. When I walked into her store about six weeks ago to inquire about flowers for the baby shower, I was greeted with a warm hug and huge congratulations! She did some beautiful but simple arrangements for the party which then looked beautiful around my house for a week and a half afterwards. Lori has great style and taste and I see no need to ever find another florist! Thanks for all your hard work!!

Lori of AvaFlora is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is truly a professional. From the moment my mother and I walked into her adorable shop, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding florist. Lori has the most beautiful taste and style and it shows in her floral arrangements. When we sat down to discuss the wedding, I told her I wanted everything to be clean and simple. She immediately understood what I wanted and I could tell it was going to be perfect. She arranged and delivered my dream wedding flowers and added her elegant touch. The flowers were just lovely! I received so many compliments on them. They were truly breathtaking! Lori was an absolute pleasure to work with - she is very knowledgable and has a very calm demeanor. I also moved across the country midway through the planning process, and she was super accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating accommodating and she was great about exchanging pictures of our ideas online. As for the final product - it was beyond a dream come true. It was more beautiful than I had ever imagined and it is all due to her understanding of my taste and vision. In addition, her pricing was very reasonable given the quality of her work. I look forward to working with her again on future occasions!

Working with Lori for our wedding was amazing. She understood the aesthetic we were going for and honestly, went above and beyond what I expected. Her pricing was fair. She was able to provide us mercury glass vases and beautiful lanterns. Our arch she also did was to die for. I dont think she knew, but birch trees are my favorite! We also had a little cake blunder but Lori kindly came back to provide our cake with extra flowers to fix it up. Again, above and beyond service from an incredibly nice person. I loved the flowers so much I am having my bouquet preserved and can only hope they capture the same beauty Lori did. I would not hesitate to recommend Lori for any floral design!
