Worst professionalism, and customer service....I went here Sunday morning looking for a carrier they didnt have the size I needed in stock so the "manager" asked if I wanted to order the correct size ...I accepted, he told me to come back on Thursday when they get there r deliveries. Something tells me to call the store before I go...I call the store and the mangers mother picks up...I ask her if my package is available for pick up yet she asks me who I spoke to before. I tell her the boys name and she says "okay hold on" the phone disconnected so I call back she then says "ok let me get ur number because the truck didnt get here yet it comes around 3pm I am going to call u back" of course you guessed it no call back ....its now 3pm I drive to the store walk in the young man is there and not the woman...I walk in first off no one is there however their is a dog literally sleeping on the counter...I look around no one there I scream a nice little hello and then the young man comes out. He doesnt seem to remember me at first and then remembers me and says "oh yeah your here for carrier." I say yes he looks at me and says ok let me check he picks up the phone and calls his mother which was a sign there was obviously something weird going on....he starts talking to her and basically she has no recollection of this carrier. His conversation sounds as if hes putting in the order...He gets off the phone and says "ok your Bag will be here Thursday....I look at him and stand there in disbelief...."THURSDAY?" It is Thursday I say...I ask him was the carrier ever ordered? He says no. Now I am completely annoyed I tell the boy I called and wasted my time driving there and no one called me back to tell me it wasnt there, and why wasnt it ordered the first time. He quickly very nonchalantly responds by saying "well you could have called first before you came"....I almost lose it! I look at he boy and say I DID! And no one ever called me back ...not only was he being rude...but if a business makes a mistak they should be the ones to call me to let me know it wasnt ordered or at least try to compensate me...then I tell him I spoke to a woman on the phone and she didnt call back he says thats my mother, do u want me to order it? I kindly say yes and ask if they could call me if anything happens and leave...the following Thursday same exact thing happens only this time I walk in the store and no one is there except the cleaning guy who was very professional...he had to go next door to find the boy...the boy comes in and like I said same thing happens I demand a refund and he has the nerve to tell me they didnt have it in stock! But yet again no phone call I ask why wasnt I contacted he just looks at me and says once again very nonchalantly sorry. I was sooo mad all I could do was leave...I would NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO AS WELL... THE DRIVE TO PETSMART A COUPLE MILES AWAY IS WELL WORTH IT! For a family owned business I have no doubt they will be going out of business sooner than later....not to mention everything in the store is from 1990 with built up dust on it...if one even reads the responses to the reviews...you can see the unprofessionalism, denial, and rudeness ...and Im sure under this message there will be a rude response like the rest, with no faults taken!

I frequent this location and other (Mott Ave.), due to its convenience and not for outstanding prices or atmosphere. In fact they are quite pricey and the clerks are usually short -worded and rude. They have a small room with some bigger available pets for sale, such as kittens and puppies, but they are completely lacking any sales tactics and meanwhile, they both end up losing out.

very rude, did not let the puppies play with us/let us play with them and saying that we just come here to pet the puppies very very rude:(stuff are very over priced treat animals HORIBBLY messed up phone calls/rude service bad treatments very rude to daughter and treats costumers like scum:)

Just left. The staff, and in specific Victor, were very patient and very helpful. They answered every question we had and, unlike other pet stores, was not pushy at all about taking home a pet. Very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Deplorable conditions where the dogs and cats are left unattended, no food, no water and no AC. Most of the poor animals look like they are suffering. This place MUST be CLOSED DOWN!!!!!!
