As someone whos been in the wine (retail) business for several years now, I came across Dry Dock Wine + Spirits quite by accident yesterday while my neighbor and I were strolling through Re Hook. The selection of wine and liquors is most impressive; the atmosphere (happily) Red Hookian; and the help, congenial. Red Hook may well be one of the last bastions of olde New York -- and well worth the visit. If you should think about venturing out, I strongly suggest you do so -- but first stop in at Dry Dock to pick up a bottle of your favorite elixir.

The workers here make you instantly feel like family. Theyll tell you what they like, and why they like it. If youre lucky, Jack from Brooklyn will be there letting you taste his Sorel liquor. If so, definitely opt in. Great selection!

The liquor selection here is unbelievable. They carry Widow Jane whiskey here which in my opinion is one of the best whiskeys on the planet. Honestly everything they carry is top notch.
