Let me start this off by saying that a few years ago I recommended a friend from the UES stop in at Gowanus Wine Merchants on his way to my place. To this day, he tells me that he wishes he had a wine shop like this near his apartment. Personally, I cant say enough good about Gowanus Wine Merchants. Ive been coming here for years and Rick and Tom have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. Dont buy your wines anywhere else.
