Mr. Charlie and Dr. Jeffrey have provided my family with 15+ years of care. The owner, Mr. Charlie is most professional, knowleadgeable about his product and very efficient about delivery. Moreover, as a purveyor of designer high fashion eyewear Mr. Charlie has guided me in over 60+ purchases in this category. His fashion sense is impeccable especially true for someone who is a collector (like myself with 400+ frames). With ease he picked my daughters first set of frames for her new job on Wall Street (she had been unsuccessful with her own initial choices)--she remains thrilled with the compliments from the trading desk. From repairing the broken leg on my mothers glasses 18 years ago to the new set (legally blind) that she now required--Mr. Charlie was terrific. Repairs are rendered cheerfully. Prices are reasonable---especially in view of the product quality and the high level of consumer service. Follow-up is quick and delivered with a smile. Dr. Jeffrey, the optomistrist is excellent---technically skilled, on top of all disorders, very complete in his exam. His conclusions always duplicate those of my eye specialists at the famed Harkness Eye Institute of NY Prespybertian Hospital. Few locals can offer the same level or evaluation care as Dr. Jeffrey--year in and out. Many of Mr. Charlies customers come for service from outside their neighborhood--given word of mouth. Their children and families are offerred a wide means of plans and payment. Without hesitation, I can firmly recommend the services of Park Slope Optical and Mr. Charlie. He and his father have been valuable contributors to the Park Slope Merchant Community these past 60 years.

Both opthamalogist and optician were intelligent, experienced, informative, and patient. Doctor gave me insightful advice on how to handle my allergies, which affected my contact lens use. Then, the optician immediately picked out the right glasses for me, which amazed me because I have such a hard time finding glasses that fit. (Being in business for 22 years certainly helps!) After having been to other eye doctors and specialists for the past 15 years, I was incredibly impressed and am very happy to have found Park Slope Optical.

Charlie is very patient and professional. Clearly, he knows that repeat business is his bread and butter. Hes also good at picking out frames that flatter you, saving alot of time. I highly recommend. SO MUCH better than going to a big box store.
