Ive went to tht bklyn so calld Burlington coat factory 1 day I needed a coat. Lord tht store far as coats go had Junk, Dirty, button missing. White coats tht Werent White, filthy. All the Other Things n tht store was Great! Really great, BUT COATS, I CNT PUT WORDS TO THE SHYT THY HAD NERVE TO B TRYN TO SELL. Even one of the workers when I asked her bout those rags tht was on floor, half on hooks etc. I asks is tht all the coats thy had ( about 25) n thy Sucked something fierce! I told all whod listen, Never go there for a coat. Goodwill had better choices, I got 2 name brand coats from them. Really nice, from the Goodwill thirft store on Fulton st. Thy jus need to fumigate their coats b4 puttn thm on rack to sell, thy have a funny stored up odor. Jus need airing, n washing etc. Otherwise, thyre jus fine. Better then Burlington Coat Factory!!! I will Never ever go to Burlington coat factory store, n the Atlantic ave Mall ever again when Im looking for coat.

Pros: large space, good selection, somewhat organized Cons: terrible customer service, expensive I went in today after visiting Salvation Army and out of closet (thrift store) near by hoping to find some goodies. However I was incredibly disappointed. The clothes had no price tags on most of them. The ppl working there were SO RUDE cussing in front of customers. I saw a dress marked 7.49 so I snatched it up. When I got to the register, 4 employees started yelling at me saying the price was marked wrong and doubled the price right in front of me. I was very angry because it wasnt my fault that they marked the price wrong. So I left the store with only one cashmere top. And Im never going back. I prefer the Salvation Army near by. They have better prices and wayyyyyyyy better employees!

When I recently visited the Goodwill Industries store at 258 Livingston street, I was surprised by all the rare electronics,nice clothes and exceptional brik-a-brak that were laying on the shelves and hung on hangers. "What the heck" I thought to myself, "probably new management." So I asked the handsome guy behind the cashier apparatus "are you under new managment? The answer was "yes, I am the new manager." I asked "what is your name?" He replied, "my name is Alfred Cabey." I would like that old and new customers remember his name. the owner of this name should be familiar to everyone who likes to shop at Goodwill Industries.

went to see a movie at Alamo Drafthouse with my family; afterwards we stopped in at a ramen shop nearby. finished up around 8:20 so I took my 15 yo into Goodwill since they were still open. found 3 shirts & 2 trousers for him & a shirt & pants for me. all TOP DRAWER labels(like j.crew, Ralph Lauren etc) in EXCELLENT condition! $35!!! but get there B4 8:30pm when they close the dressing room.... clean, spacious, well lit & GOOD selection!!

Customer service, staff very helpful and friendly. Very hard working people. Not sure what their salary is, they should get a raise. I have seen them still working after Goodwill is closed. Always smiling and in good spirits. They make my day. There are times, I have had a very bad day, and left feeling better, because of the staff. I still come in, just to feel better. This place is my STRESS MANAGEMENT CLINIC! God bless them.

Lapin and I come here every season to donate our gently used stuff that we no longer need or have space for. The staff is generally nice at the donation entrance but I come across the occasional lazy or rude employee. The one time we went inside the store we were able to find new Ball mason jars for $1.99 which we picked up a couple. There seems to be good deals but you just have to be willing to dig through a lot of stuff.

I used to enjoy shopping here but now alot of their items are overpriced for used items and closeouts. Also I had an incident when a cashier overcharged me for an item, while I was still at the counter, when I showed her the error she agreed and then proceeded to tell that I cannot get a refund only store credit. I no longer shop there.

This Goodwill is a big store with a lot of different items sold here such as clothing for male, woman and kids, shoes, household items, gadgets ,toys etc. Every time Ive been here its been messy and stuff all over the place. Check clothing before buying. Some clothes have stains on them or are torn. The employees are helpful.

The store was messy nothing is organized but staff was friendly and prices are reasonable. I would just recommend anyone going to shop at Goodwill double check they purchase the toys that were purchased where in sealed boxes but were not what were expected there were broken toys in the boxes and a lot of pieces were missing

You need to be downright rude to the people on the street who try to get you to give your donations to them instead of bringing them inside to Goodwill. Also there is no parking accommodations close by while dropping off donations. The workers are also kind of rude - not at all like Goodwills elsewhere.

Very clean and organized for a thrift shop. Staff are friendly and polite. I was there right before closing, and they made a closing announcement and were not too pushy, which was nice. We finished looking at the kitchenware (really nice full China set by the way), and left 5 minutes before closing.

Get rid of all the things you dont want here. Very straight forward for making donations. There are some guys who hang out outside and ask after your stuff before you bring it into the Goodwill because they want to sell it on the sidewalk around the corner. I think its very enterprising.

A great resource for downtown Brooklyn. They have a convenient drop off site, with helpful people. You can ask for and get a tax deduction slip.They also do a good job in the store, keeping it neat and easy to find things. They were recycling before it was cool to recycle.

There was a broken strand of globe lights, and when I brought it to the sales associate and told her there was glass all over the floor she told me it wasnt her job to sweep the floor. Highly unprofessional. Someone could have been hurt.

Typical spot for deep discount used clothing. Lots and lots ti choose from Not much in way of shoes or accessories like belts. Excellent value for the dollar. Great place to get some back up duds for casual work or leisure.

Goodwill use to be for the working class folks, now its for everyone. Great deals are to be had. Heres my beef with this store. You receive goods for free, yet your prices dont reflect the free part. Go figure.
