This is cool and very convenient mall in the community that has been maintained over the years. It recently expanded with additional stores and a huge supermarket and its great to see my old neighborhood being uplifted and providing jobs for residents. But like any other shopping area, it gets cray cray on the weekends and/or holidays and I try to avoid the area like the plague. Sooo many cars trying to get in and out and it can be a hassle. Forget about trying to get something to eat in one of the restaurants on the weekend, long waits. Overall I love being able to drive to Target and/or Best Buy for something quick. Its definitely worth checking out especially with the free parking. There is also a public bus that stops in the immediate area and seems like a short walk to the shops.

There are lots of great stores in this mall. My one complaint is the security at J.C. Penney. Well, J.C Penney in general. Theyre rude and aggressive and the store prices are just expensive. The guards would look at you mad suspiciously as if you were there to steal. Like alright, you have the right to see if theres any shoplifters around in your store, but dont assume or accuse anybody so easily, especially with no proof. Speaks a still irritated brother whos sister was harassed horribly recently by four of them. This JC penney shoud be among the ones that should make the store closings list.

The gateway center is good for the bronx, but parking is a nightmare. They actaully charge you to park inside of their complex, to me that is a ripoff. you shouldnt have to pay for parking inside a mall unless its valet. Parking outside is tough as well, as the local residents clog up the parking there. The stores are great, they have big name stores which makes it a better than average mall. I cant get over the parking. P.S do not go to this mall when the NY Yankees are playing unless you take the train, you willl be stuck in traffic for hours.

Love this place. You can find almost anything your looking for in one or some of its stores. Its easy to get to and from the streets or the Belt Parkway. Plenty of parking, and the customers seem happy and content. One day I got tired from shopping so I put my stuff in the trunk and took a break. I sat in the park right across the street on a bench under a tree. It was quiet and the breeze was cooling. I wonder if more people use this park? Anyway after 30 mins or so it was back to finish what I started.

Pretty convenient place for a multitude of things on your weekend errands list. Got the groceries, new shoes, lunch break, the hardware and that milk I for got to get at the first grocery store. ;-) Stars are only off for the other customers. Many are rude and they cant park worth a darn. Id park far back from the stores if I were you. Less busy during a week day or early early weekend morning. No hope after church time.

There isnt a decent restaurant, coffee shop, book store or anything unique happening at this mall. Theres so much potential as the mall and surrounding parks look quite nice. The people deserve more variety but instead all they get is Red Lobster and Target. And dont try to go there on a weekend. Because of poor planning, a two minute ride in or out of the shopping center can take 30+ minutes

This is my most favorite place to get things in bulk. However the lines are extremely long, always. No matter when you go late at night or mid morning. Prepare to wait. I also wish there were more customer service workers walking around so you could get help when needed. Other than that, awesome store loads of stuff and the bathroom is big enough for strollers and wheelchairs. Thats a plus!

I think its awesome they are adding more and more stores. I have yet to go to all the stores but its great to have that option and availability for shopping in Brooklyn and not having to travel to Manhattan for many of these stores. Parking is never difficult to find as they have an abundance of parking spots. Overall a good amount of stores for you to shop at in this center.

I will start by saying its nice to be close to a variety of stores. However. Parking lot needs a restructure. Too many small islands become an interference trying to drive into next section. Overall family oriented. Appreciate security making rounds. Target can be better. BJS the earlier your theres the less you feel the agitation kicking in. Shoprite. Kudos.

This mall has a great assortment of stores for everything. A few restaurants like Applebees, Olive Garden that always have long lines. Stores ranging from Target, OldNavy, Costco to ShopRite. Parking lots are big and fill up! Amazing how many people shop here. I just dont like that its all out doors and bad when its cold & rainy. Come check it out.

Great mall. The best thing about this mall is the huge parking lot that offer easy, free parking. Most stores close between 9pm and 930p. Only Target stays open until midnight. This mall has two sections. The newer section has more stores including JC Penney, Raymore and Flannigan, Pier One Imports, TJ Max, Carters and Burlington Coat Factory.

I rather shop online. The attitudes of both the workers and those that shop their is uncalled for. They suck their nasty teeth at you, push, skip the lines. Security does nothing but play with their phones. Pot smoking in the parking lot. I was disgusted. I wont go there again and I will definitely tell everyone I know not to go their either.

Gateway is one of the more recent shopping centers in the Brooklyn area. Most of the familia and popular stores are represented there. The parking lot is not large enough to accommodate the developing popularity of the Center. Truth be told, the congestion can vary depending on the day and time. But definitely between the hours of 3pm and 8pm.

ALIA FAHME

Exit 15 on the East Belt Parkway from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Best place to shop. No tolls and all stores like Jcpenny, Marshal, Burgingtong, Bjs ,shop rite supermarket, Target, Home Depot. There is two section one that you see Home Depot entrance and if you keep going there is another entrance to the mall where you see the rest of the store.
