the worst experience ever. My uncle passed away and I ordered a sympathy basket to be delivered at on 5/7/13. I had ordered the basket in the am. We got to the funeral home around 3 and the flowers had not been delivered, we went to the night session and still nothing , I called the 866 number and no response not even a voice mail. for the next few days I called an again no response. Upon arriving home today Monday I looked on the web and called the 718 number. I was transferred to 3 different people and finally the manager, who was rude and obnoxious, he was no help he keep saying "it is 6 days later what do you want me to do" I explained that I called the 866 number with no reply and he was even ruder , "what do you want me to do" I said I would like a refund and he said absolutely not , I asked if it was signed for, was it delivered etc and he would not give me any answers and was still rude and abusive, he told me to go F*** myself and told me to go to hell. No one should be treated like that especially someone who is grieving a loss. I highly recommend that you find a different florist for any of your needs as the customer service is horrible

4 reviews 5.0 star rating 6/20/2017 I needed a sympathy basket for a memorial service, and quickly did a search for the closest florist to the church, knowing I needed them delivered for the very next day by 11:30 am. I was able to give the price I wanted to pay, the time I needed them delivered, and some specific instructions about how the bow and card should look and read. The person I spoke with even helped me craft the cards message- sometimes these things can be difficult to do. I was blown away at how beautiful the flowers were - they were delivered on time, exactly as I had asked, and the quality for what I paid was very high. I expected a smaller basket with less exotic/expensive looking flowers, but the basket was lush, colorful, and absolutely perfect. Thank you 13th Ave Florist- you made what can be a difficult and uncertain process easier during a time of grief. Im very grateful!

I decided two days before my wedding that I wanted a bouquet... yeah I know it was a super last minute thing. They worked with me to make a really beautiful bouquet with the flowers that were available, and I was able to pick them up right on time, two days after my order! The price was reasonable, too, I thought, $50 for a clutch bouquet with roses, calla lilies, and tulips. I was so happy. Thank you so much!

Cant say enough good things about 13th Avenue Florist. I placed an order for a funeral arrangement this morning and got a call about a half hour later from Mr. Hoogasian himself to let me know that the arrangement I chose would be a problem for the place where it was to be delivered. He fixed the problem immediately. Great customer service. Agree with all of the other google reviews.

I didnt order the biggest wedding floral package with George and his team but they all still made me feel like I was the most important bride and ensured that all of my bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were as perfect as they could be. Horrible service. The bouquet I ordered online arrived 1/3 of the size it should have been with completely different flowers. When I called to speak to the florist he was rude and hung up the phone on me!
