I placed an order online, and it was unavailable to ship but available for pick up at the Kmart. Ive used this pick up at store service before with other companies, and it is usually a cake walk! This was a NIGHTMARE. I had a question about the order, when I called the store, no one picked up. I called repeatedly for an hour. Finally I called the online customer service number, where my call was directed to India, and the WORST customer service representative I have ever had to deal with "helped" me. She clearly did not listen to a word I said, but continued to read scripted answers, that did not pertain to my questions. Several hours later, I FINALLY got an email from Kmart that my order was ready for pick up. I waited in line, and when it was my turn, the woman at the customer service desk could not find my order. IT was supposed to be in cage 1, She said she looked through cage 1 and didnt find it. She just looked at me and said "Its not here." Finally, she paged someone to ask where it was. After 15 minutes, another person called her back to say that the person she paged was on his break. So I stood around some more until someone else came over to look through all of the cages. The woman at the counter wrote me off, and went about helping other people. Apparently, "I cant find it" was good enough for her. Eventually, a man in plain clothes, that I can only assume was a manager came over to help the stock person look for my order. Guess where they found it...? CAGE 1, Where it was supposed to be. I wasted an hour of my life standing around because a lazy customer service representative couldnt open her eyes while she looked for something. To top it all off, I get home and realize, they gave me the wrong size in something I ordered. I called the store the next day to ask if they could put the correct size aside for me, since this was the stores mistake. The woman on the phone nastily told me that "I cant do that". Thanks, a lot. NEVER AGAIN KMART! NEVER

I visited this Kmart about 2 weeks ago looking for dress pants. I asked a husky black woman that works in the mens department if they have dress pants. Her answer: "none in your size" (I never said they were for me). I then asked her what the biggest pants size was. She told me "maybe a 36" (Notice how I asked for the biggest general pants size? Not in dress pants). I felt so offended with her attitude to me throughout and how she answered my questions that I notified the manager on duty. She confronted the staff member, and the staff member lied saying that she explained everything to me (no she did not) and was saying a manager was right next to her during the incident (it was a Little Caesars staff member). She refused to tell the truth, and I asked if it was possible for me to speak to someone higher up. I did, told them word for word what happened (my gf was with me the whole time and heard everything), and the higher up would speak to the staff member about it. I come to this Kmart often, and to be treated like that makes me want to avoid it at all costs. Ill stick to Target from now on

This place is terrible. There is no customer service whatsoever. I purchased a dresser to find parts missing tried to contact the store got hung up on twice. Went into the store the service desk tried to say the pieces should have been in the box, the girl had a bad attitude. Asked to speak to a manager. After about 5 mins the girl standing literally right next to the other rep goes..im a manager how can i help you. I said the whole time you stood here listening to this convo and waited for her to call a manager after 5 mins you said here i am. I requested to speak to a store manager was told she was the highest manager there at the time. Will now file a complaint with the main headquarters for playing games. After being told by this ghetto fake manager that the pieces should have been in the box and i could have misplaced them they didnt have anymore boxes in stock and could salvage pieces for me..i was pretty pissed i left and went to a diff location. Will not go to the ghetto co op city kmart again

I visited a Kmart, on December 21, 2014. (Bay Plaza Mall) It was a horrible experience, the staff was not helpful & extremely nasty ! The store was beyond a mess, disastrous the cashiers were mentally checked out ! When I asked for help they left & never returned ( it happened several times) The cashier threw all our stuff in bags. When the manager came over, she could care less about the horrible experience ! While exiting the store, security checked our receipts, my full shopping carts locked at the entrance. The security guard, whose name I later requested screamed at me to move the locked cart. Ultimately the experience with security continued from bad to worse ! He did not assist in unlocking the cart. He continued to disrespect me loudly in the front of the store. Yet, I never raised my voice ! I will share this nightmare experience with my family, friends & colleagues. Beware of Kmart !!! I will not spend my money with this business.

This location is more spacious and nicer than the Manhattan stores. They have a variety of categories from toys and clothes to food and some hardware and paint supplies. For years, there was nothing much around these parts, just three shopping centers that had smaller private stores. You had your pet store, bagel store, and the best variety was at Lamstons, a five and dime like Woolworths, but the closest place to get most items was Caldors in Pelham Manor or The New Rochelle Mall. Bay Plaza was greatly needed. And while Kmart came years later, it provides variety greatly needed in the area. Kmart might not be the top department choice, and a new indoor mall has Macys and other options, but when Kmart arrive, that wasnt there, so Kmart gets 4 star credit for filling a needed void.

Not the best Kmart out there. Avoid this place at all costs!! Employees are not even helping the customers and they are just fooling around and on Snapchat talking about their boyfriends. There were only 2 registers out of the 20 open on a Thursday afternoon at 5:00! Also one other thing: the security follows everyone around and makes everyone feel weird! The electronic section is nothing special and doesnt have anything good at all! Need something to eat while you are here? Sure check out the Little Caesars inside here! Very long waits and not the best pizza! Dont even get me started about the customer service desk and the returns! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Called the store just to find out of they still had a treadmill that was on sale in stock. The first time I called I was put on hold for 25 minutes and 33 seconds. The second time I called and explained why I called and also stated how long I was on hold the first call. I told them if they were not able to find out just let me know, after another 8 minutes and 49 seconds I just hung up. Called the Bruckner Blvd store and got an answer in 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Bay Plaza needs to work on thier customer service.
