You wouldnt expect an excellent game shop in the Bronx but this one beats most in Manhattan. Pretty cool place and I prefer it over GameStop (not the least because its a small shop and not a corporate chain). Service is not particularly active. Youll want to speak up with you want something as they are unlikely to prompt you. Their selection is quite broad and deep and they offer tons of Japanese games, including many JRPGs for Vita. In fact youd be hard-pressed to find a better Vita selection anywhere in NYC. Additionally youll find a handful of older games, including a wide selection for the DS. This is not a retro shop but they have a smattering. Prices range from reasonable to downright cheap. Often small stores, particularly in Midtown Manhattan, will charge exorbitant prices because tourists and rich people are willing to pay a lot, because rent is so high, and because small businesses lack economies of scale. Not so here. I picked up a used NES Remix in the case for $15. That undercuts even eBay and represents half off a new copy. They do accept credit cards. The guy even took the care to let me know that the game was short levels and not a full story, and showed me the pins on the cartridge to verify that they were in good condition. When I visited they closed the store early (7:30 instead of 8:00) and wanted me to leave. When I ended up buying something the employee apologized and gave me a small discount. To close up the transaction the employee announced other titles I might like (amazingly, tailored to my interests), including Dragon Quest VII (coming out that week) and Persona Q. He really knows his recommendations. Side note: this store, bizarrely, also hosts a sneaker shop. Because why not? Oh, and one of the employees is among the three Asian people who live in the Bronx.

NOT worth the time and money to go there, They have limited items on stock and sales men always dont know when certain item will be on stock and if they ever will have it, and the downside they wont buy use games even if you bought them there with them in the same store No money just credi, not much of a choice take it or leave it attitude, really weird and rude DAMN JUST GO TO THE OTHER STORE ONE BLOCK AWAY G A M E E X P R E S S GAME EXPRESS BETTER STORE TRUST ME

This gaming store is the greatest, have a huge selection of games for all systems, they always have it in stock, AMAZING customer service and they actually chat with you, very very friendly people, I been over there since I was a child, before they even moved to the bigger place and they have only changed for the better. You got to check these guys out they are more then just gaming vendors, they are like family.

I have been going here since I was a younger kid buying snes and genesis games. Now I am an adult I still spend my time and money in this place. Its the best. Just go in there and ask for PETER hes one of the coolest and helpful staff there.

Great video game store, and a great place to get your sneakers too. They also have a cell phone service. They can handle any cell phone problems you may have. You should definitely check this place out.
