I am a customer & fan of Pastime Legends for a number of reasons. The biggest is that they give back to the community. And I mean a lot. They are always helping to promote events in the area. Just check their facebook page. There is almost always an upcoming event they are supporting or advertising for. As to their stores, I have only been to their original store in Scotia so far. It may not be the biggest store, but they have a little of everything. And if they dont have the item you are looking for in that store they have 2 other stores in the immediate area they can check. And if they still dont have what you are after then they can order it for you. They also give a lot for trade in credit when trading in old games. They put the big box stores like Gamestop to shame. If you want the most bang for your buck though you want to do store credit. They will give you less back if you want cash. But this is just like every other store. They are a business. They wont rip you off, but they also need to make some kind of profit. As to some of these reviews about games not working.. I have seen a couple of people bring back games they got earlier that they claimed didnt work. Pastime Legends simply exchanged the game for them with another copy or gave them back store credit. I will continue to shop at Pastime and highly recommend them.

I LOVE THIS STORE! the selection is humongous with games and systems from past to present. great customer service always looking to help. the owners are amazing people who take pride in what they do and the communities they work in. PTL has sponsored many local events and tournaments. The store is my only choice for my gaming needs. please give it a chance and dont let the negative reviews sway you, they are most definitely mistaken.

Its hard to put into words how great this store is, its a local game store so you can actually get to know the clerks and theyll tell you about games you might like if you were interested in a certain title, very knowledgeable, rare and hard to find titles are available, great prices, the best service, and a great place to hang out and talk about games new or old, so in short I love this store.

I dont know what some of the other peoples problem is with Pastime Legends, but I had a fantastic time there. Seriously from you moment I walked your greeted by Fox McCloud statue and retro video game goodness. The owner Joe was very helpful in helping me pick out some Nintendo NES games. Knowledgeable Staff. A+ Service I totally recommend you guys to stop in.

Past time legends is a great store, ive founds many great rare treasures there as well as expanded my already massive library of consoles. They run many great specials and offer good prices on trade ins. If youre a avid classic video game enthusiast, this store is a must to stop into, everything from atari cartridges, to sega CDs and rare systems.

This reviewer failed to also include that they also carry not just the main stream older systems, but the more rare stuff too, like Sega CD, Saturn, 32x, whatever they can get their hands on. The prices are ridiculously cheap too! If you live in the area and are a gamer, you MUST support this store! I am sick of Gamestop!

An awesome store. They have a great selection of games, both used and new. They even have lots of rare games and consoles, if youre a collector. Additionally, their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and their trade in prices are quite good as well. Highly recommended.

Both my visits were to quickly pick up a title or 2 and to trade in some games. Ended up spending over an hour both trips just talking to the employees and other customers about classic gaming and childhood memories
