Ok so here is my experience. I contacted this shop through Facebook initially to let them know what I wanted and to see if what I wanted was something they would be able to do, then I went up to the shop to make an appointment in person and spoke to them again about what I wanted. The next available appointment they had was a week later. Fine, I set it. The day before the appointment I get a text about a family emergency and that they would reach out to me as soon as possible to reschedule. I was sympathetic and understanding to the situation. But then weeks go by NO call, no text, to IM. Then a month!! So I reached out to them.... Got an " Oh my god. Im so sorry hahahahaha. I was apologizing for not getting back sooner. Ill call u after my appointment." On April 1st, well I guess that was an April fools joke because as of today, April 11th I still havent gotten that call from 10 days ago. This is ridiculous and I have never had such a terrible experience with a tattoo shop, and I have been to many. I had high hopes but I will take all the signs ahead of time for exactly what they are. I wanted a special tattoo done for a very special occasion, thanks to this tattoo shop, I was unable to do that. The worst experience ever.

Shawn had done some really great work on a friend of mine and his son. I was sold 100% on his beautiful artwork. I needed a cover up of an old yin yang with an American flag. I called. I came into the shop, met Shawn and was told Id hear from him in a week or two. After 3 weeks I called back spoke to Shawn who admitted he forgot and he was writing me down at the top of his list. That was a few months ago. I understand being busy, God knows I am too. However, I will always give people common courtesy and respect. I do not own my own business, but I imagine I would treat potential customers a little better. Especially coming in off of a recommendation. There are other shows in town and competition is fierce. Im sure you will get great work done here....if you can get in.

North jersey tattoo treats the customers with nothing but respect. they really strive to make you feel like family. The shop is very homey with amazing Art and great vintage New jersey pieces hanging on the walls. I cannot stress enough that this shop is the real deal! I went there looking to get a new ring for one of my piercings, I wasnt even thinking of getting another tattoo yet! So Shawn recommended a place to get a new ring for my piercing. Two minutes later I was back in there setting up an appointment for a tattoo!! Shawn was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in! I love my new memorial tattoo for 9-11-01,it came out absolutely amazing! Ive been to quite a few places & this is by far the BEST! A couple of weeks later I was back in there & my husband got one too! Shawn,Vinny & ROCK!!

After many years of being Tattood, I can honestly say that this is the BEST shop I have ever frequented. ALL of the artists are top notch, The shop is spotless, The vibe is great. Last night Vinnie put, By far the best tattoo of the 20+ I have on me. The quality is second to none! The prices are fair. Cant say enough about these guys!!!

Shawn and Mike are amazing. Not only do these guys have insane skills, they have WI ked personalities to go with it. The shop is nothing short of awesome, there is so much to look at and its such a comfortable vibe in their whole atmosphere. I have had a couple of pieces done at North Jersey Tattoo , and each experience is better than before! My latest piece was actually a walk-in, as it was relativey small. Shawn was available and I have to say that it was great! His work is super professional, precise and very detail-orientated. I highly recommend North Jersey Tattoo! I took my 11 year old daughter to visit the shop and meet the guys and she had a blast, Shawn even creating a custom drawing for her.
