Ive gotten two tattoos from K&B -- I went there first in 2000 on recommendation from my friend Kim and her boyfriend at the time, whod both gotten tattoos done there. The place was very clean, the staff friendly and professional, and they took me as a walk in during my friends appointment to go over a bit of her tattoo to make it darker. As a virgin skin, the artist (whose name I sadly didnt catch) let my friend get hers done first, so I could hear what the machine sounded like and get used to it. He then went over the outline a bit with the needle, but without ink, just so Id know what it felt like and could decided whether I could sit for an hour. They even told me that, if I decided against it after that, theyd only charge me for the needle used and nothing else. How awesome is that? After 11 years, my ink may not be as fresh as it was the day I got it, but even after losing and regaining weight several times, the design is still as clear as it was the day I got it, so I went back for my second tattoo. Mack did the second tat, and he was professional and quick. I walked in, on my own, design in hand, and he did it that same day without a problem. Hes not the most personable of tattooists -- no chit chat here -- but when I was done, the ink was awesome. My only complaint, if you can call it that, was the heat--it was during 2011s massive heatwave, and there was no air conditioning in the shop. The place was also a bit more disheveled than the last time I went, 11 years prior--the first time I was there, you could mistake it for a dentists office, it was so immaculate. Im assuming it was because of the heat: no A/C meant they had fans going, so things were getting blown about a bit. Also, the lack of heat meant I started to feel dehydrated after 40 minutes or so--thought I was going to get sick or pass out, but Mack stopped and let me get some water before finishing up. Other than that, it was another great experience. Im not sure what kind of after care instructions one of the other reviewers got, but I received the same printed instructions I did after my first tattoo, which were the same as Ive seen online by other tattoo shops, and the free packets of A&D were just the perfect amount to get me through the healing process. He did go a little deep in one spot, so I bled a tiny amount, but there was no scabbing, no scarring, and a year later, my tattoo looks nearly as good as the day I got it. Very happy with K&B. I will go back for any future tattoos.

Thomi earned my business for life, honest people are hard to find. Was looking to get a plain black wedding band, called a local place. Woman on the phone was incredibly rude, said they are booked solid for the next month. Told her it was a simple wedding band and asked if they could squeeze me in as a walk-in, after huffing at me and telling me to come by and I would have to sit around for 2-3 hours and there was a $100 minimum for finger tattoos. Decided to call K&B because my father lives nearby, Thomi was straight up honest from the get go. He said he hates to turn away business but doesnt recommend finger/hand/foot tattoos because they fade and blur really bad over time. Ended up getting it done anyway even if it fades because I hate to wear Jewelry, it ended up taking longer than I thought, about 45 minutes. Thomi didnt make me feel rushed at all and took his time. I asked him how much I owed him for his time, he said $80 and I ended up giving him $100 anyway. Totally professional, I wish most businesses were run this way.

Thomi is amazing at his craft.. I have had the idea of my tattoo for years and after talking with him and giving him a picture of what I was looking for , he drew it up and was able to give me exactly what I wanted.. I ended up getting 2 pieces that day and look forward to sitting with him again soon.. good people are hard to find these days... that was until I sat with Thomi Hawk...

If anyone feels they got a bad tattoo at K & B, they have never had a good one! These guys are the best !! Every tattoo I have, which is many, is awesome!! I am the son of a very famous celebrity and have seen tattoos from all over the world, these guys are THE BEST!

Ive been going to K&B Tattooing since1992 and I wont go anywhere else. I just got my 8th tattoo and it looks amazing. I brought in a rough pen drawing of a flower and Mac made it absolutely beautiful! Love this place!!!

I got my eyebrow pierced at K&B about two years ago and they were very professional. I havent gotten any tattoos there, but Ive seen and heard great things. Going back tomorrow to get my nose re-pierced!

Got my ear pierced (1 out of 3 for the forward triple helix) and the staff was great. My piercing healed up nicely and I will be back for my second of the three and possibly a tat.
