First off I would like to take the time and thank BC-HD for going above and beyond to help me with purchasing my first HD motorcycle. I first learned of this dealer when I was on the hunt to take a riders course. The first person I meet at the dealership was Diana what a amazing person she made signing up for the course, and understand how it works a breeze. The Next interaction I had was the actual course its self which I feel Is very well laid out not only do you take the course but you get a tour of the dealership and get to interact with each department. So now the fun part started the course itself I was very nervous as this is my first time ever being on a motorcycle but Ed my instructor made it painless, informative, and fun. Once I completed the course and passed I came back to meet with Justin for a fitting. A fitting is when you come in and get to sit on every type of HD they have available so you can get a feel and see what are your likes and dislikes. The fitting also helps with understanding what you should look for when buying a bike and understand if your going to be a daily rider or a weekend worrier. At no point during the fitting was a pressured into getting a Bike or felt like any of it was a giant sales pitch. But I knew I wanted a bike and then a seen her 750 sport custom what a piece of art. After the fitting I knew I wanted to know more about the bike and came back Saturday to work on numbers and see if this was something I can afford. I must say this part is normally when you can tell what kind of dealership your dealing with were if it was all about making a sale or a forever customer. I walked in and gave them the numbers I needed to stay in and with some back and forth and help from one of the big guys ( Glen ) the sale was made in my budget and hassle free Im sure having good credit helped on both ends but they lowered the price on the Bike just to make it happen. Normally this is were they tell you oh you want your payment to be X amount we need this much down to make it happen but that didnt happen here they took from profit just to get the monthly payment were i needed. Now comes a helmet and I must say the merchandise department is amazing I spent over a 3 visit back and forth from the dealer to pick the right helmet and everytime I never felt pressured or hassled. shoutout to Jessica for her amazing customer service everytime. Now once more as a mention before Im a first time rider and as everyone told me everyone falls atleast once and yes this is a very fair and correct statement to make. So now I get to meet the service department which was not the way I wanted to meet them ( was hoping only time I would is for service) but this is were Im at and waiting to see how bad was the drop. So far everyone has been great and very willing to help and answer any questions I have. I will update my review once Im done with the service and repairs on the bike and give a overall since a literally have delt with ever department. As for now you have my 5 star review its up to BC-HD to keep it.

My name is Tomasz Szylar and in October 2015 I become happy owner of 2012 HD VROD Muscle. I purchased this bike from HD dealer, Bergen County Harley-Davidson dealer 124 Essex St, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662. I also bought extended warranty for it for over $2000. According to sells representative the bike was checked and serviced by dealer and found nothing wrong with it. Driving the bike I noticed that clutch is making squealing noise so I decided schedule an appointment. The bike was dropped off on July 27, 2016 for noisy clutch and also I notify service personnel that fuel gauge is not working correctly ( with the full tank is showing everything in between ¼ to ¾ full). They told me that they call me with findings. After 3 days I called they to get some information I have been told that they waiting for parts… I called back a week later ( Aug. 05) to find out that the part in order is a sending unit for fuel indication, the part is on back order, and they don’t even GET TO THE CLUTCH PROBLEM?!?! I ask if they can at least troubleshoot the clutch problem, they told me that against the warranty policy, they have to clear all codes before they get to the clutch (?!?!?!). Next call august 12, they told me that the part is on back order and will be cleared by the end of the month and the clutch problem still having been touched. That was enough…. On Monday 15 I contacted service manager I told him my situation… next day he called me and told me that clutch is in work, he don’t have information what failed and he will call me with new information. Today is August 29, 2016, and I didn’t hear anything from service Dept. I lost a whole month of the driving season, cancel 3 road trips for problem that didn’t effect bikes drivability. I ask few times, please fix the clutch, give me the bike back I will bring it over when you have parts on hand. Make sense? I thought so too… No. my Bike is still there, no ward when I will get it back, zero communication… That is the part of the letter i sent to the HD corporate office. They must call the dealer because miraculously next day my bike was ready for pick up. I spoke to the technician that work on my bike and he told me that he didnt found nothing wrong with the clutch after service manager told me that clutch is in work... after 4 weeks in the shop, bike is still squealing like a pic, hesitate in between 3000 and 4000 RPM but after 4 weeks in the shop fuel indication is fix... I found the great peoples when i was buying bike, great people in the store but service DEPT. is a joke... insult to the great HD heritage... Shame on you guys.... i hope i can give him 0 stars...

To all concerned, I bought a Harley Davidson Street 750 brand new from Bergen County Harley in New Jersey. The bike broke down in the first mile of my riding it and the dealership took it in and the motor company sent a new motor which the dealership installed. I lost two weeks riding time. I rode the bike only on Sundays and this week I rode it to work on Monday and then to Jr Cigars Whippany. The bike was serviced on Friday May 1st, 2015. They supposedly checked if there were any issues with the new motor that they replaced. Now as I leave Jr Cigars in Whippany, at about 1 mile on rt 10 I notice smoke coming from the motor. I pull over to a gas station and notice that my bike has oil spewed from the oil cap that blew off. The oil was all over my pants, the motor, the seat, and rear tire. If i had caught one spark, I would have went up in flames. The bike is being taken back to dealer for who knows how long. More importantly, I am out a bike for riding season for the second time. The company, nor the dealer will not loan me a replacement bike so I can ride and most disturbingly, wont take responsibility for their serious manufacturing error. Replace the bike with one that is not defective or refund my money and I will go get something else. Not only is this poor quality apparent in their workmanship, but it permeates their customer service and reflects in their antagonistic, profit driven, and quality compromising corporate policies. Any Rider thinking about a Harley Davidson should reconsider whether the premium price they pay for the Harley Brand Name is worth taking on a poor quality motorcycle that will embarrass you in front of other riders as you waiting on the side of the road for a tow. My Harley case number is 2449461 and they flat out said there is nothing they can do for my brand new bike being out of commission thanks to the companies manufacturing error or the dealers shoddy workmanship. This is something a prospective buyer should be wary of. Its a shame to buy a unused brand new bike that works worse then a 20 year old used bike. I should be riding and I am watching others ride why after I made a significant capital commitment so I can ride. Be vary especially of the street model bikes. I just received recall No. 0620 notice which is due to a "production error". I have been lucky that I have not had a serious injury due to one of these production errors. But the last one had me covered in oil. Riders, perhaps its just this model, but be wary of this bikes. Will Harley treat you this badly if your new bike has a problem.
