Pharmacist rude. Too good to help at counter. Dr called in a prescription 48 hours in advance for kids flouride only to arrive and script never filled. Had to wait. Noticed while waiting online that phone rings & rings and they never pick up. Have drop off counter and 3 pick up counters. Wife was told she had to wait in long pick up line to drop of a prescription. She refused after pointing out what is the purpose of drop off counter then. Finally after back and forth counter help conceded and helped.. Watched the counter help look for a prescription for 10 minutes while long kept getting longer. Not one Pharmacist offered to assist. Some started to complain while waiting on line only to watch the Pharmacist disappear once they realized they may have to help at the counter. JUST NOT A FRIENDLY PLACE AND VERY DISORGANIZED. PISS POOR MANAGEMENT! Took my business to ACME pharmacy.. no lines no waiting no lazy pharmacist there

I went to CVS in Randolph earlier today. I called ahead to ensure that it was in stock, and I was told it was (I take Subutex for opiate addiction treatment - it is a rather unusual drug, not to mention exceptionally expensive). I was told that the script was in stock. I arrived and tried to fill my script. I was told they would have to check t see if it were in stock. They said it was indeed. I only had $100 with me at the time, so I asked if I could get a partial fill. They said, begrudgingly, that I could. Since I live in Stanhope, I asked if they could transfer the remainder to Byram Township CVS. Begrudgingly, again, they told me t hey could do this just once. They were helpful, but they had an undercurrent of not giving a damn, like most CVSs I have visited. This is not an awful CVS, but I would go to Ledgewood, or, if you feel like a drive, Byram Towhship CVS, where Ive had very few problems. Steven

Rude, unprofessional pharmacy staff. Arrive about 4:58pm on Sunday Dec. 5 to pick up an antibodic for an infection my doctor had called in about 4:30pm. Gate was closed literally on my foot. Have to pull it out. Pharmacist refused at first to even answer my calls. Finally did. When I asked about my prescription said she didnt fill it and would not they were close. Told me to call my doctor and have him call it into Lrdgewood. They were open until 8pm. Another woman was there who had dropped off a prescription she needed for a medical procedure in the morning. The pharmacist refused to give it to her. Told her the same thing. Call your doctor and have him call it into ledgewood.

My prescriptions were transferred to CVS only a month ago. In that time period, they have miscounted pills -- actually did not give me the amount of pills indicated on the label, ran out of a very common drug and claims that their distributor wont have it to them for more than a month. STOP buying the small pharmacies, CVS! You need training in customer service. The drop off line is too long, refills called in are not ready when promised. My familys prescriptions will now be filled elsewhere. BEWARE--check your labels, your pills and count them!

Was told to call in 1 week for Rx that cVS didnt have. Called in 1 week and held on phone 40 minutes before anyone picked up. after one week was told it didnt come in. Asked when I could expect the Rx to be in. Was told by pharmacist he didnt know. When I asked if perhaps would it be in next week- he replied he didnt think so. He should have been truthful when I brought the Rx in. Had to go to a different pharmacy to get it (not a CVS). They are rude.

Staff is often rude and seems annoyed to have to help you. I moved from this cvs to a&p years ago because of this. I gave them a second chance when A&P closed. No change. Ill be headed to cvs in Ledgewood.

Just to counter some of these awful reviews: Ive had good experiences whenever Ive visited this store. Nothing exceptional, but theyve always been polite and professional.

As a physician, I urge you to avoid this pharmacy as their phone/fax no. does not work at times making it impossible to call/fax in prescriptions in a timely manner.

Anytime we try and call with a question for the pharmacist theyve never answered the phone, after being on hold for 30 mins we give up and call walgreens instead

Even though the pharmacy is over worked and under staffed, Ive never had an issue here. Michelle and Lori are both an absolute joy to deal with.

They were going from one excuse to the next for one week to fill my sons prescription. I miss a&p pharmacy - cant depend on cvs.
