Candice at Duchess Florals did all of the floral arrangements, boutonnieres, and bouquets for my wedding on May 16, 2015 at Sayen House and Gardens in Hamilton, NJ. Candice was fantastic to work with, from first contact to finished product. During our first meeting, she really listened to what I wanted, took notes, and was more than happy to go over my Pinterest posts about flowers. She was very knowledgeable about what was in season, what would look good together, and even gave me suggestions of more budget-friendly options that would look similar to some of the more expensive flowers I liked! When coming to make the final payment, Candice explained some of the flowers I liked had been unavailable because of variations in growing season, and went over more options with me, even showing me pictures so I could choose what I liked. I really appreciated this. It would have been easier for her not to mention it, or to change it herself, but I really appreciated being involved in the process, and the care she put in to making sure everything was perfect! Candice went out of her way to visit my venue before the event to help her plan the arrangements. She was right on time with the delivery the day of the wedding, not only delivering our centerpieces to the venue, but also delivering our bouquets right to our hotel so we could start taking pictures. It was very warm the day of our wedding, so she was thoughtful enough to wait inside the venue to put our ceremony arrangements outside at the last minute so they wouldnt wilt. Candice added special touches that were a wonderful surprise the day of the wedding. My husbands boutonniere had an extra touch of color to differentiate him from the groomsmen. She also added small jars with succulents that she had left over from our bouquets that added a lovely touch of decoration to the bar and some of the small areas of our venue. I had provided vases for the wedding, and for my own bouquet. Candice added a lovely bow with an adorable wood-burned charm with our initials on it and the date, and had the same charm on our flower girl basket. Its a lovely keepsake we will treasure! I would highly recommend Candice and Duchess Florals for any wedding or special event. Candice was a pleasure to work with, and I am 100% satisfied with the results!

We got married at the Park Chateau and had a real princess wedding. Duchess Florals deserves 10 stars. Candace is full of life and so sweet. She was the first florist we met with when planning our wedding and she ended up being the only florist we met with after our fantastic meeting. It was a big wedding 3 months away so we had to start making decisions right away. Although our ideas and visions changed over the short period of time, she stayed with us and took in everything we wanted (especially the crazy stuff). The finished project was beyond what we could have asked for. Her technique and vision for floral arranging is so right on with what her clients are seeking. We could not have asked for a better florist to work with. She is by far the most passionate and dedicated person when it comes to her work! After reading the reviews on the weddingwire, I made an appointment right away. From the time we spoke on the phone to meeting with her, I knew I had nothing to worry about in making our day beautiful. She was very easy to talk to and was always on point when coming up with ideas for our wedding. Her knowledge and suggestions made me more comfortable with the overall floral portion of the wedding. Prior to the wedding, we also were able to meet up where she provided me with a sample centerpiece. It lasted numerous weeks! I knew then I made the right decision with my florist. We also met at the venue to go over the entire table set up, including linens, she had so many options and ideas. On the day of the wedding, she was there to set up early, went above and beyond to ensure we loved everything. You can tell she is passionate about her work making everything come together even up to the last second! I would highly recommend Duchess Florals to anyone looking for a florist for any event as she is so professional and phenomenal at her job! This is definitely the kind of work she should be doing as she is amazing to work with! She will take your breath away with her final product. Thank you Candace for making our special day perfect. The setup was more beautiful than the samples I pulled from the magazines!! I am grateful and will always recommend you.

How does one find the words to adequately describe the woman who brings your wedding vision to life??? Amazing-Talented-Visionary-Partner In Crime-Professional-Committed-Experienced-The Best...are just a few off the top of my head. I initially hired Candice based on her floral designs but as we worked together over a year, she became my event designer as well. We had so much faith in Candice, that I got to let go and not be a Bridezilla. She understood me, what I was looking for and we could tell, she really wanted to bring my vision to life. Candice, my Mother & I spent so much time together planning out my romantic, candle lit pastel rainbow wedding and it was STUNNING! She provided all the vendors we needed for linens, chairs, a romantic tufted love seat for myself and the groom and all our ceremony and reception decor. My flowers were a pastel rainbow and I had my heart set on Peonies, specifically Sarah Berndhart peonies (a gorgeous shade of pink, my fav color). Being a July bride in the tri-state, that meant no local vendors would have them. Did Candice bat an eye at that? Of course not! She had them flown in from Alaska and they were EVERYTHING!!! I grow them in my own yard and the quality she received was better than what I grow. So, so many of our guests came up to us before and after the wedding and said they had never attended a wedding so beautiful, so elegant and had never seen so much attention paid to the details. I was told that in my family, it is considered the Wedding of the Decade :o) From our initial consultation to the site visit (2x) to our mock-up/trial run appointment to the day of, including all the calls and emails in between, Candice was an ANGEL! No ask was too big or too small. She was enthused to work with us and out of all our vendors, she is the one we grew the closest to; Candice is now our family. If you want to have your vision come true and be able to place your trust in someone who will make it happen, please look no further!

The floral decor was paramount to our wedding day and I couldnt imagine having any other florist but Candice at Duchess Florals!!! From the very beginning Candice was a breath of fresh air to work with, she understood our vision and worked tirelessly until she perfected every minute detail of our wedding decor. From our very first meet we knew she was the best person to share our day and she proved to be invaluable throughout our wedding planning process. I feel truly lucky to have worked with her as I am a stickler for details and love a variety of flowers and wanted something unique for our décor. Candice was extremely attentive to our wants and educated us on the seasonal flowers that worked best for our theme and were budget friendly. She was incredibly organized and staged the planning process in a few phases so it wasn’t overwhelming for us, she also made it her duty to become familiar with our venue and offered great ideas on bar arrangements, cocktail hour, bride/groom table, and seating card table. Candice went the extra mile by researching budget-friendly options that gave me the décor I dreamed of! She was amazing in checking in on us with next steps, which guided us smoothly through the entire process. When I look back on our day I will always remember the camaraderie we shared and how she was able to turn something that couldve been very stressful into something fun, magical and beautiful! Candice offered creativity, patience and provided many budget saving options that did not sacrifice the beauty of the centerpieces we envisioned. In the end it was a sight to behold and we received tons of praise on our centerpieces, flower girl wands, bouquets, corsages and the décor for cocktail hour and the reception. Candice is amazingly talented, passionate and a joy to work with – she was the best decision of my wedding planning experience!
